Chapter 6: My Christmas Detour.

"Welcome to Paris. Enjoy the city of love." The Pilot said as I tooo a deep breath and stepped off the flight. I went over to baggage claim and collected all my bags. I headed out towards the arrival exit and seen Legend jumping up and down. I smirked and ran over towards him and we hugged.

"Merry Christmas, ducky!" He told me as I laughed, "Ive been telling you since I was 12 to stop calling me that! Merry Christmas, Legend." We rolled out my bags out and packed them into the trunk and I was shocked he was on time. We have this joke that he is going to be late to his own funeral.

I got into the passenger seat and he asked, "So Mom said you ended up in some rinky dink ass small country. How was that?"

"It was eye-opening for sure." I vaguely told him. I at first had every intention of telling them what happened to me, but after yesterday and kissing him and ruining a wedding possibly-I had to leave. That aint me at all.

"Well you seriously have so much drinking to catch up on. We went to this club last night and mom was on the bar!" He confessed to me as I laughed, "You are lying!"

"So seriously. Shots arent her thing." He told me as I asked, "Has it ever been her thing."

We arrived at the House my mom rented and I said, "Damn, she didnt lie when she said she went all out."

"Yes she did. Come on. Some people have been eager to see you." He told me as we walked up to the door and he unlocked the door. We walked in and I dropped my coat on the rack. I walked in and seen my mom over by the fireplace. The Christmas tree looked amazing.

"Mom!" I shouted! She turned to me quickly and ran to me. We hugged and she exhaled, "Merry Christmasss baby!!!" We hugged for more than 3 minutes it felt like-well until Marvin and Jamie rushed around and spotted me. They joined in the hug.

"I got you the best gift! Lets go!" Jamie told me. He was the best big brother ever...he always protected me. I literally miss us all under the same roof. He went under the tree and tossed me a gift. I sat down on the sofa and opened it.

"OH MY GOD! I posted this Fendi scarf months ago! Thanks!" I told him as he gave me the other gifts from my mom and other two brothers. I loved each and every one of their gifts. I stood up and stated, "Lege, bring my suitcase with the Red writing on it. Thats the one with yall gifts." He rolled it in and unzipped it as he handed me a cup of coffee. He told me to blow it because it was super hot. He handed out all the gifts and I watched as they opened them.

My mom gasped, "Oh My God...your Dads Military dogtags?"

"Dad's favorite Christmas Movie." Legend added. Jamie had my Dads Leather Jacket and even Marvin had a sentiment of my Dad. I stood up and said, "I-I." I walked over to my suitcase and seen a yellow note card. I picked it up and quickly opened because I didnt get them these gifts at all.

"Whats wrong babe?" My mom asked. I unfolded the note and read it to myself:

By Now you have made it back to your wonderful family. I really wished that my last magical ounce of miracle would have worked. Nakoshia advisors of the Kings are all blessed with 3 ounces of Miracles to help their King. And I knew finding him a true love would be a gift that he would cherish. My first ounce was getting your flight detoured to our country. Ounce two was the St.Agnes day and snow ball fight. My Final ounce was that baby bird. Sadly you still left Nakoshia, I guess it doesnt come with a manual. When I looked into your eyes at St.Agnes your father spoke to me and gave me the cause of his real death. A house fire you started by mistake....and yall lost alot of momentos. So I gave you all gifts to cherish him forever. Forgive yourself, it wasnt your fault.
