The tales of a girl with a broken heart

Happiness drenched her soul
She never knew hurt
Never was confused before

A life of which she became zealous
She thought it was love
It showed all over her
Like the farrows in a gyrus

But she craved a feeling greater than this
Maybe on her forehead, a soft kiss

In the unpreparedness of her kin
She fell fond of a man
So deep, it penetrated further than her skin
Uncontrollable emotions of the heart, thoughts she can't stand

She wanted to think she knew best
Disregarded advice
Ones that were in her own interest

Today her forest is dark
The trees are sad
And all her butterflies have broken wings

Her soul is full of grief
She never knew she could feel this much pain
And still be in love with the person causing it
The one who flooded her with disbelief

All the love she had in the world
It went to him
Of him is this owed
