Jihoon's POV

I went out of the bathroom after taking a long bath. I walked towards my bed and slowly taking a sit on it. While I was taking a bath, I did a self reflect for a few moments. I know I did wrong that I get mad at her for nothing. I just can't refrain myself from getting mad since I was so tired and I just met my ex-girlfriend which made it more worse. She wanted to get back with me which is ruining my whole day. I have moved on from her. Maybe not really.

I walked towards her bed and stood beside her bed, silently taking a sit at the end of her bed. I shook her leg which was covered with her long trouser slightly. "Yah, Han Yeoreum. Wake up for a moment. " I said, staring at her who started to blinking her eyes. She sit up and look at me. "What do you want? If you wish to yell at me one more time. Forget it, I don't have time for it and I should sleep since I have school waiting for me tomorrow. " she said, not letting me say a single word before she lay her head again. Did she just sleep talking? I smiled to myself seeing her cute side.

"Yah, I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry. I'm sorry I got all worked up because of Hyun Ji. I'm sorry I raised my voice at you who did nothing wrong to me. I'm sorry. I can't tell this when you're awake because I got a high pride you know. But at least, I've apologized for everything I did.Even if you can't hear me. At least I did it. It has been almost two weeks since you're here and you haven't gotten to see my good side. I'm sorry. " I stared on the floor before taking a deep breathe and continue, "you know why we can't be friend? It's because I'm sensitive to a creature opposite of my gender. I've been hurt once and I assumed all of them are the same. We can't be friend because I'm afraid that I'll get lied on once again. Alright that's all I wanted to say. Good night, Han Yeoreum. " I said as I made my way to my bed.

-Back to Yeoreum's POV-

I turned my body towards his bed. I look at his sleeping face. I smiled for a second before saying, "I've forgiven you, Park Jihoon. Good night. " I said before continuing my sleep.

I just woke up from sleep. I made my way towards the bathroom. I washed my face with face soap then brushed my teeth. I stared at the mirror for a second before saying, "It's another day in someone's house." I sighed. I just started to miss my mom. They weren't even searching for me. Maybe Yeongju just made up some story that makes them not to search for me.

I head downstairs to have breakfast. I woke up late than usual today since it's weekend. I took a seat on the dining table leaving the seat beside me which was supposed to be Jihoon's seat empty. Maybe he got class today. "Where's Jihoon aunty? " I said as I took a bite on the bread. "He's going to the park for a jog." she said. I nodded while having another bite.

After breakfast, I went to the park aunty tell me just now. I was going to have some fresh air. As I was walking around the riverbank, I saw Jihoon sitting on the wooden chair specially made for the people who came there. I look at him from afar, I saw him zoning out while staring at the river. I slowly made my towards him and took a sit beside him.

"Good morning. " I smiled looking at him. He hummed as a response. I took a deep breathe. "Aunty said you're jogging around here. " I said. "Yeah, whenever I have time. " he replied. Finally I get to hear his voice today. "Why are you zoning out in the middle of a sunny day like this? " I asked. "Nah, nothing. " he said, refusing to open up his problem. "Hyun Ji? " I asked. "How-" he was about to ask me but I cut his word. "I heard it, last night. Your confession maybe. "I chuckled. He narrowed his eyes, " you acted like you were sleeping right?". I cleared my throat, "I wasn't simply acting, but yeah. I'm acting. " I said,  finally giving in.

"I've moved on," he sigh, " but she came again. Craving for my love once again." he added, weakly. "Did she mention why? " I spat another question. "Because her boyfriend cheated on her. " he answered. "May I know why did you guys broke up? " I raised an eyebrow. "because she cheated on me with the guy who cheated on her. " he replied. "Yah, then why are you hesitating to say NO. This may sound selfish but you have your own life, your life is for you not for her. If she can just ignore you when both of you were dating,  now it's your turn to ignore her in a nicest way ever. It is nothing wrong with saying NO." okay, I just can't believe this guy is actually soft-hearted.

"But I still-" I cut his words since I know what he was going to say. "Right, you still love her. You know what, I know she's not in love with you. She's just trying to show to that guy who was cheating on her that have she got a lot more better guy than him. " I almost explode at the moment. "Yah, she's not that kind of girl,  okay? " he said, defending his ex-girlfriend.

"Well then, if you don't want to hear my words, then don't. But if you're hurt for the second time, please tell me first because I will help you since you're a friend to me. Even though I'm not, in your point of view. " I said as stood up and made my way back home.
