Centre For The Arts (CFTA) was having a fundraiser, selling chicken pasta dinners. I was asked to help work the fundraiser and Hayden, my friend, was just stopping by. I filled several dozen to-go boxes with pasta and then went to sit by Hayden. We talked for a little over two hours and we filled a few more boxes with pasta. Hayden and myself always talk about the most random of things; music, movies, musical instruments, books, comedians and so much more. We tinkered with the piano for a while, playing little ditties and kiddy songs. I felt one of his hands move to my lower back. I didn't say anything, but turned away and asked Courtney, my boss, if I needed to do anything. When she said no, I turned back to Hayden, who was standing a little too close but it wasn't uncomfortable so I stayed put. A little while later, he said he had to leave. He told everyone goodbye and asked me to walk with him to his car. I nodded my head and we walked to his car that was parked behind the building. When we got to his car, he put his arms around me, trapping me in a tight but gentle hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist and stood on my toes so I could rest my chin on his shoulder. He didn't pupil away from the hug so I lowered myself from my toes and laid my head on his chest. He rubbed my back and kissed the top of my head. Surprised, I looked up at him, words forming on my tongue but before I could speak, he softly touched his lips to mine. My first kiss....
