Chapter 1: New Term, New Start

It was the first day of September, the first day of school. The sun was high up in the sky, and the mild breeze drifted by, causing the clouds move along the clear blue sky. Archie and Betty have been besties for years, and it was a tradition to walk together to school on the first day of each term. Archie and Betty were in the same class for ever 10 years, and the two families were pretty close-knitted. They helped each other when they needed help and often shared stuff together.

" Are you nervous, Archie?" Said Betty.

"Of course! With all these hot girls, oh Betty, it's different from before. Hotter girls, harder classes, more after-school activities, of course I'm nervous, aren't you?"

"To be honest, I'm not. It's still the same, nothing changed." Exclaimed Betty while thinking how she's going to handle the boys in school.

"Whatever you say Betty. And i may be joining football this year so I may not be able to walk you back home everyday."

"Oh I'm totally fine!" Although thinking to herself that she's going to miss him, walking down the quite riverdale sidewalks, joking and laughing around until we reach home. She's going to miss al these memories, and besides, Archie's going to hang out with hot girls and not hangout with her anymore, but she accepted the fact that it's going to happen soon.

They walked through the parking lot and they soon stood side by side in front of the big banner written "RIVERDALE HIGH". The excitement just bubbled inside of them, like a fresh opened can of soda, sizzling and boiling inside of them. They walked through the aisle of lockers and soon departed to their own lockers. Soon a boy caught Betty's eyes. He was muscular and strong, he wore a leather coat and a beanie on his head. His hair was as light as feather as it flew in the air. Betty found herself gawking at him until he came up and said," Hi sweetie."
