making friends isn't that hard 3

"This is the commons, where we have all of our meals." My new roomate Emily said. Emily insisted that she give me a tour of Priorwood before introducing me to her friends. Emily was very nice, and quite goofy too. 

"The best part is the cafe. I go here nearly every morning and after school too!" She said leading me into the school cafe, "Cafe Rosa". 

"The hot chocolates here are absolutely too die for. Why don't you go and grab a seat and I will get us some?"

"Sure! Sounds good!" And with that she was off. I looked around the cafe, it wasn't very full but there were a couple of students hanging around. I felt a buzz in my back pocket as I was looking down to see what it was I bumped shoulders with someone. 

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" I said, quickly looking up only to find myself lost in blue eyes. 

"No, it was my fault! So sorry." He replied looking at me. "Hey, are you the new American student!"

"Yes, I'm Paige, nice to meet you..."

"I'm Niall." He said smiling. I couldn't stop staring at his beautiful blue eyes, he was actually quite handsome. 

"Niall, stop flirting with my new roomate. So sorry Paige, Niall is pretty annoying. Let's go sit down."

"Heey Emily! That's not true!" Before anyone could say anything else, Emily dragged me over to a table away from Niall. 

"Don't get me wrong, Niall's really sweet, he's just kind of a dork." She spoke, I gave her a small smile and took my first sip of my hot chocolate. 

"Oh my god, this hot chocolate is amazing!"

"I know right? Everything at Rosa is addicting. Just wait til finals, you will live off of their coffee." Emily said and we started to laugh. It was weird having an actual conversation with someone my own age. 

"Emily!" I heard two screams. 

"Marie, Lucy!" Emily screamed and quickly got out of the booth. The all formed a big group hug and were yelling things like, 'how was your summer' 'I missed you so much' 'it sucks to be back'.

"Guys, this is my new American roomate Paige! Paige, this is Marie and Lucy!" 

"Hi, it's so nice to meet you." I spoke quietly, a little intimidated. 

"Your accent is to die for." The girl I think Marie said.

"Thank you. I would kill for a british accent though, you sound so posh." I spoke, giggling. 

After a long afternoon at Rosa's, getting to know Emily, Marie and Lucy was amazing. They were so hilarious, and we actually had a lot in common. Turns out Priorwood is filled with kids with fathers like mine. 

Emily and I decided to walk back to our room so we could start getting it organized. 

"I was thinking we could go for a black and white theme."

"So chic. I love it." I replied smiling. While I really enjoyed hanging out with Marie and Lucy, I could already tell that Emily and I would be best friends. She reminded me a lot of Louise. 

"Now Emily, who is your new friend?" A boy spoke. I looked at who said this and I gasped quietly. The most gorgeous set of green eyes met my dark brown ones. I also spotted a mop of chocolate brown curls. 

"Styles, back off. I don't want you corrupting my new roomate and best friend."

"What's your name?" He asked me.

"I'm Paige, pleasure to meet you." I replied, still staring into his eyes. 

"Ahh, so you're the new american meat. I'm Harry Styles, and the pleasure is simply all mine." He said with a smirk.

"Stop being an arse and go find Louis."

"I'll see you around Paige." Emily grabbed my hand and quickly walked away.

"What's with him?" I asked, and little confused about Emily's reaction.

"Don't even bother with him. All the ladies love him, and he most definitely loves the ladies." 

Once we got back to the room, we immeditely began unpacking. Within in an hour all of our clothes were put away. The dorms were way bigger than I thought they were going to be. We each had a walk in closet and a dresser. We had an onsweet bathroom that we shared. And two queen sized beds for us to sleep in. It was amazing.

"My father said he was shipping some stuff over, but I have no idea what that means." I spoke. 

"That'll be great, whatever it is. I'm sure we will love it." Emily said. 

"You're the new talk of the school Paige. I invited over my friends so you could meet them! I hope that is okay, they should be here any minut-" she was intrupted by a loud knock on the door. 

"You must be Paige!" Someone yelled. Suddenly 9 or 10 people walked through the door. 

"I'm Louis, and this is my good buddy Harry. But you've already met him, he has not stopped talking about you."

"Shut up, would ya? That is not true." Harry said as he elbowed Louis in the stomache. 

"Lads, back off. I'm Liam, it's so nice to finally meet you. Marie and Lucy were telling me all about you."

"Nice to meet you too. I'm very excited to be here." I replied. I looked around the room and everyone seemed to be in pretty deep conversations. 

"So Headmistress Collins has told me you are in all of the advanced classes?" Liam askes.

"Oh yeah, it's going to be crazy trying to handle all of that." I replied smiling.

"I'm in all of the advanced lessons as well, so if you ever need some study help, just let me know!"

"Thanks Liam!"

"I never got to introduce myself, I'm Zayn, it's nice you."

"Paige, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Paige, so we meet again." I turned to see who said this. I was met again with those blue eyes.

"Hello Niall." I spoke smiling. His eyes looked like the ocean, like nothing I have ever seen before. 

After a long night, and lots of talking with new friends I was exhausted. My first day at Priorwood went better than I could have ever expected Never before I had I been so open to people, but my friends here were so easy to talk to. 

"Goodnight Paige."

"Goodnight Em."
