End of Y/N Rose (Prologue)

It was a hot summer evening on the island of patch and somewhere in the middle of the island was a house. A house that belonged to the taiyang and summer rose.

Outside of the house where two children. One with long blonde hair and purple eyes and a fiery attitude, this girl was Yang xiao long the daughter of taiyang and raven branwen. The other was a tiny black haired girl with red tips and sliver eyes, this girl was Ruby Rose the daughter of Taiyang and Summer rose.

With the children was there uncle Qrow branwen the twin brother of raven branwen. He was teaching the girls how become Huntress even tho he was a bit drunk. Yang looked to be hyper and taking her training seriously. While ruby was frowning looking up to the attic window of the house where her twin brother was watching from.

Y/N Rose is ruby's older brother by 6 minutes, like ruby he is the same height. He has black hair with red tips. But unlike his sister he has Y/E/C eyes and a scar on the right side of his jaw line.

Qrow who noticed that ruby wasn't paying attention looked to where she was looking and as soon as he saw Y/N his face turned angry and he shouted

"TAI!!!" Yang smirked at her uncle whilst ruby whimpered because they knew what was going to happen next

Taiyang came out of the house a few seconds later and looked towards Qrow

Qrow nodded his chin up towards the attic window. Taiyang rolled his eyes and said "I will deal with him" taiyang turned around and walked back into the house and began to walk up the stairs towards the attic.

In the attic Y/N sat waiting for his father to enter his room. He started to shake and get scared for he knew what was going to happen next.

The door smashed opened and a furious taiyang walked through and marched towards Y/N

"DAD PLE." Y/N was cut off by taiyang slapping him across the face which made Y/N fall to the floor and curl up into a ball.

"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE SHIT, HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD NOT TO DISTRACT YOUR SISTER FROM HER TRAINING!!! Taiyang shouted as he kicked Y/N in the stomach.

"B..... B... Bu" Y/N tried to speak but the pain was too much. He looked at his father who was reaching for a whip out of his back pocket

"Just because you don't want to be a huntsman doesn't mean you can stop ruby" taiyang said in calm but scary voice as he raised he arm with the belt up and swung down with force.

Whipping sounds and cries of a young boy filled the house an could be heard from outside.
In the house summer just continued to bake her cookies while Raven looked up at the stairs for a moment and then looked out of the window and watched her daughter training with Qrow.

While Qrow was teaching Yang, ruby looked down silently crying and hugging her scythe tightly and closing her eyes.
But all she could hear is the screams of her brother.

Hours Later

Y/N sat slumbed in the corner with his eyes closed

Why....... Why does this always happens to me.

I don't understand why not wanting be a huntsmen would make them treat me like this

I feel something cold touch my cheek and in response I tense up

"Y/N?"

I hear a gentle yet quiet voice that was no doubt my sister Ruby

I open my eyes trying to ignore the pain from my belly and back

I only see a blured figure but everything became clearer and I could see ruby concerned and teary red face starring me in the eyes
