Chapter 5

We are at my house and I introduce Mitch to the family. My cousins happen to be over at the time. Then name 6 year old cousin says "Hey isn't Mitch the guy who you said is really cute!" I tried to ask like I never sent that but it was hard to deny so I just changed the subject. I asked my mom what we were having for dinner and she offered to take us all out to eat. So by this time it's about 5:00pm and we all go out to my favorite restaurant Olive Garden I ordered some kind of soup with dumplings in it I really don't know what it's called (XD). And pasta with Alfredo sauce it was really good! Mitch ordered the same soup and spaghetti. We all finished eating and Mitch offered to pay for his meal but my parents would not let him. I think that they really like Mitch! We had back home and Mitch and I go swimming before it gets dark and we had a lot of fun Mitch kept splashing me and we got into a huge splash war it was great!

~Mitch's POV~

Wow I love how care free Ashley is! She had a lot of fun splashing around and stuff. Then I picked her up and tossed her across the pool her loved it we laughed for awhile. When it got dark we decided to go back inside. It was really dark and we were walking back and there was a small log on the ground, Ashley tripped on it and it looked like it hert. I very quickly helped her up and hugged her for a couple seconds. "Are you ok?" I asked. " yeah I'm fine" she is a strong girl her eyes watered a little bit but not a single tear. Because of that her eyes sparkled. They were beautiful and green I could stare at them all day. "Are you sure your ok?" I asked again. "Yes" I picked her up anyways I carried her inside.

~Ashley's POV~

My ankle hurt really bad but I tried to act like I was fine but Mitch wouldn't believe me so he carried me inside he put me down on my bed. "Want to watch a movie?" I asked. "Sure!" I just grabbed my iPad and turned on Netflix. We decided to watch the hunger games. It was a really good movie. After that we went to sleep Mitch slept on the couch I had in my room. And I slept on the bed. Before we went to bed Mitch kissed me goodnight and I just thought of how lucky I was.
