You'll do great!

Jemma POV

"You're gonna do fine!" I said as Fitz turned around away from the whiteboard which was now covered in diagrams and explanations, and running a hand through his hair, "You've studied so hard." My legs were dangling over the end of the table and I was swaying them as he walked over nervously, setting his whiteboard marker on the teachers desk.
"And what if I don't?" I saw the nervousness in his eyes as he stopped in front of me. This physics test was really getting to him. He glanced at me before returning his gaze to the floor as he ran his hand through his hair once more. I leaned forwards towards him, curling my hands round the edge of the desk.
"It's only a test but don't think like that, you've worked so hard," I saw the corner of his mouth rise a little into a smile as he leaned forward, resting the palms of his hands on the table so our faces were inches apart.
"You know you've been a great help," he said and I could feel his breath as he spoke. His smirk had returned and I heard the bell go and people enter the classroom. I quickly leaned forward, putting a hand under his chin as I kissed him quickly. We'd been dating for months but every time I kissed him it still felt like the first. I pulled away only moments after it started, hopping down of the desk and walking towards the door.
"You'll do great!" I yelled as walked away. I looked back at him smiling briefly before I left.

Hope you enjoyed this! I don't normally do one shots but the idea just popped into my head earlier so I thought I'd share. It's killing me that I've got to wait so long for the next season of Agents of Shield but hopefully the writers will be nice to Fitzsimmons (although we all know that's unlikely).
