In side the Mind

A crystal

All this because of one crystal

And it wasn't even his

Yet here he was watching as his team walked through his memories

''Garfield, be careful with that thing it's not a toy'' Kori said

They just completed a mission and retrieved a crystal in a box but they weren't sure what was so special about it.

''It'll be fine'' Garfield said but in doing so the box slipped out of his hands and the glass box encasing it shattered and the crystal slid across the floor and touched Damian's shoe.

In a flash of light Damien was gone.

''Garfield what did you do'' Kori said

''Nothing, honest''

Rachel turned to the crystal shard laying at the feet of where Damian used to be. She sensed dark magic present and upon further look she recognized where the crystal was from. Her eyes widened in realization

''Guys, I know what's going on. This is a crystal from the ancient mines of Azarath, they used to use the crystal to keep the mind at piece and control overbearing emotions'' She said

''What do you mean?'' Kori asked

''The people of Azarath used to use these crystals to go inside the mind to make peace with their emotions but the thing is that only someone with the powers of Azarath can get out of the mind zone, so-''

''Damian can't get out'' Jaime finished

''Exactly'' she replied

''So, what can we do?''

Raven pondered this, she knew what to do but she was sure that Damian would disagree with her.

''There is one thing but I think its best if I do it alone''

''Were a team we do this together'' Grayson

Raven seeing as she had no other choice began to explain the plan

''Ok, so in order to get Damian out were going to have to go inside his mind''

''As long as we get him were good to go''

Raven gave them the instructions and they all got into a circle and touched the crystal as she chanted an ancient spell.

The team open their eyes to look at what looked like a fireplace study {if you watch Riverdale it looks like Hiram's study} but that wasn't the weirdest part, the weirdest part was that standing before them was Damian but not regular Damian, this Damian was in a pink {yes, I know pink} oversized sweater with denim shorts but most unusual of all is that instead of his normal emotionless face he was wearing a bright smile.

''Hi, I'm Joy'' the Damian looking kid looked at their puzzled faces '' You're not from around, here are you?''

''Damian?'' the team asked with puzzled faces

Joy laughed, an angellike laugh,'' No silly Damian is the overall I'm just one of the emotions''

'' You're the emotion happiness'' Raven said

''That's right'' Joy replied

''Wow I didn't know Damian had any happiness in him'' Garfield said sarcastically
