"Ellis come here!" I yelled to my five year old daughter.
I heard her small footsteps running down the hall to where is was resting in the living room.
"Yes mommy?" She walks up to me cautiously.
"Did you and your brother finish your homework?" I questioned her, putting on my mean face.
"I did, but Eden didn't" She says quietly, almost to the point where it was a whisper.
I stood up from my comfortable spot on the couch.
"Eden!" I yell down the hall.
"Ma'am?" He called back.
"Come here!"
"Did you do your homework?" I asked
"No" He said
"Do it now before you get a ass whooping. I said
"Ok" He said as he started doing his work.
While they did their homework I caught up on some studying. As I was studying my bestfriend text me and said she was coming over to see her babies.
30 minutes later.
"Babiessss where are you?" I heard Melayah yell.
"Hey auntie Layah" Ellis and Eden said at the same time.
"Hey sissy" Layah said to me.
"Hey girl" I said back to her.
As Melayah and the twins talked and played I went and started dinner. I made Chicken Alfredo and Garlic Bread.
"Dinner is ready" I yelled
As the twins ate at the table Melayah and I ate in the living room chatting.
"Girl when are you going to start dating again?" Melayah asked
"I rather be single than get hurt again." I said to her
"Stop letting the past get to you.You need to move on Rayah."
"I'll think about it" I said looking at the tv.
"Thanks for dinner but I got to go" Melayah said
"I seen your phone blowing up" I said
"Girl that's Tony crazy ass" she said laughing.
I joined in on the laughter.
"Well bye girlyy" I said to her
"Bye" she yelled walking out the door.
"Come on babies it's time for bed" I said as I looked at the clock that read 9:45.
After I tucked the kids in bed and kissed them I ended my night.
