Ladybug/Marinette's POV

He had a serious face on, which showed he was not fooling around. He got down on one knee and held out a rose for me.
"I tell you one more time m'lady that I love you," he said sadly. I gasped.

Knowing that if I said no, he could be akumatized. But if I said yes, I'd ruin my chances with Adrien. I had to make a decision there and then.

"Oh Chat Noir," I started.
"I get it. You love someone else. I just..."
"I...I'll accept the rose. It looks good with my costume, as you once said," I winked. He got up and handed it to me with a little smile.

"What does this make of us?" he asked curiously.
"I'll tell you tomorrow," I smirked and pecked him on the cheek. He blushed slightly as I hopped away.

Adrien/Chat Noir's POV

I blushed and hopped towards my home. I jumped in my window and detransformed.
"Kid, what if she says no?" asked Plagg.
"I know that. She IS going to say no. She just didn't want to make me sad," I sighed.
"And are you?"
"No. Well... a little bit. But still! There are plenty more fish in the sea," I sighed and looked out my window.

The sun set and I saw Marinette standing on her balcony, staring into space.
"Like her?" smirked Plagg, grabbing his stinky Camembert.
"N-no! M..Marinette is j-just a friend," I stammered, blushing slightly.
"Uh huh. Hold on," he groaned and swallowed the last bit of his cheese.

"Thanks," I smirked. "Plagg, Claws Out!"

As the moon rose, I hopped onto Marinette's balcony.
"Hey princess," I smirked. She turned around smiling.
"Hi kitty," she waved, turning to face me happily.
"Something's got you in a happy mood," I smirked and sat down the railings that surrounded the balcony.

"Nothing much. It's just... well I don't know if I am happy. I told someone, well acted like I accepted their live. But their is someone in my life that... I like already," she explained, her smile fading from her face.

"Oooo do tell," I winked.
"If I did, then it wouldn't be a secret," she giggled, booping  my nose.

We laughed in sync and then I asked the question again, but in a much more calmer mood.
"Princess, who do you like?" I asked, staring over at my home.
"Do I have to tell?" she sighed sadly.
"Yup." I said. "Or we could play 20 questions?"
"Go ahead."

"Is he in your class?" I smirked.
"Yes."
"Is he a he?" I laughed.
"Duh! Honestly Chat," she facepalmed herself.
"Okay, what is his personality?"
"He's kind, honest, helpful and polite. He would never cheat on a test and he is well-focused," she smiled.

My heart dropped, as if something about the description of him made me jealous.
"Ahem, next question," I fake-coughed. "What do you like about him?"

"Well, he knows me so well. We're super besties and I love spending time with him. He's also cute. But I fell in love with him, not because of his wealth, but because he is a kind-hearted human being," she explained, looking at me.

"Who is he?"
"I... I can't. Oh never mind. It's getting late," she sighed.
"No I am not leaving until I know who is your mystery crush!" I declared, half jealous and half determined.
"I... I like Adrien!" she cried and her face went red. She ran to the other side of the balcony and covered her face.

I was jealous... of me?
"M...me?" I muttered quietly, suddenly realising what I did and prayed she didn't hear.
"What?" she asked nervously, facing the wall.
"Uh nothing," I smiled awkwardly.
"Chaton," she started, turning her head and letting the unwanted colour on her face disappear (the blushing)," You said something. What?"

"I said me?" I sighed.

Marinette's POV

Me? That doesn't make sense.
"Huh?" Then suddenly, I started imagining. Adrien+a whole new personality=Chat Noir! Oh no no no no no no no no!

I gasped dramatically, suddenly realising how Alya was right all this time.
