Hajime had always found life boring when staying in one place. The same school, the same people, the same conversations. He even grew bored of going to college.

Then one thing in his life that always gave him excitement was Nagito Komaeda.

The two boys had met at college after a party. Hajime had been slobbering drunk and walking to his dorm when Nagito showed up from the shadows, pulling him out of the way of a speeding car.

Hajime didn't see the mysterious white haired man until the day before an exam. Hajime had been drinking tons of coffee and pacing in his little corner while trying to study.

Nagito had suddenly popped up, claiming they took the same class and helped him pass the exam.

Ever since then they decided if they kept running into each other, why not just stay friends?

Of course being friends led to more. Hajime and Nagito began to sleep around with each other not long after becoming friends. Then they made it official, because why the hell not?

It was their senior year of college, weeks before Hajime would graduate. Nagito had been acting strangely.

"Nagito? Hey what's wrong?" Hajime asked as he walked into his dorm to see Nagito on his bed, crying into his pillow.

His roommate, Byakuya Togami, spoke up, "He hasn't quite crying for hours. It's annoying. I have a god damn test to study for and so help me if he doesn't qu-" he was cut off by Hajime's boyfriend lifting his head.

"The t-test resu-ults came back-" Nagito wheezed out, covering his face with his hands, "I won't live to even graduate." He choked out.

Byakuya went silent, "I'll leave," he said as he gathered his books and left.

Hajime sat down next to Nagito and took his hands. "They were positive huh?" He asked gently. Eyes sad.

Hajime couldn't stand to see Nagito like this. White hair matted on one side of his head from laying down, his soft eyes that we're usually filled with mischief now held sadness a young adult shouldn't have to hold, pale skin now even paler, thin quivering to the point that Hajime had to help him stay on the small bed.

Nagito gave a small nod and basically threw himself at Hajime. Wailing into his shoulder while his nails dug into his back.

Hajime wrapped his arms around his waist. One hand soothingly rubbing up and down his back. "Hey, Nagito calm down. It's going to be okay." He promised. Hajime's voice cracked, betraying his words.

The two males laid on the small bed with the blankets over their heads, legs intertwined.

Nagito soon fell asleep with his head on Hajime's chest, listening to his heart beat.

Hajime didn't sleep that night.

Nagito woke up very early in the morning. He lifted his head to see Hajime smiling sadly down at him.

"You made my arm fall asleep you big goofball," he whispered. Nagito could tell he had been crying from the red rimming his sad eyes and the groggy sound from his voice.

Usually Nagito would smile and say something witty in return, but this time he just got up and put his hands on his knees.

It was still dark outside and the only light coming in the room was the moon light shining through the main window of Hajime's dorm.
