"Now my dear calm do-" My mother walks towards me, her hands reaching out to hold my shaking arms in comfort. I wasn't for it.
"Calm down?! You want me to calm down?!" I roared on the top of lungs, series of thunders booming outside non stop. "Have you lost your bloody mind?!" I panted.
"My mate, my lovers body is missing!" I pace along the marble flooring, the sounds my black boots clinking loudly in response.
"Now, now" My mother grabbed my arms and rubbed them smoothly trying to calm me down. "It was probably taken for investigation you-"
"What damn investigation could there be? Without my permission?" I spat back at her nonsense. "Somebody probably already raped her" I muttered.
I receive a slap up the side of my head, causing strands of my long hair to fall onto my face. "Don't say such vigorous things about your mate" she hisses at me.
I snatch my arms out her hands "Have you seen our generation?!"
"Could you ever control yourself?" My fathers raspy voice filled the environment.
He stood with his glory in fine royal clothing. He towered over everybody easily, giving off a sense of dominance. "You are making the weather outside chaotic, scaring the villages as we speak. Contain it."
I walk towards him and shove him backwards outside the building, into the rich green grass. Hovering, over him I grabbed his collar and shook him violently. "Don't tell me what I should do! I am your King, not the other way around!"
I slammed him down into the grass making the ground indent from the force. Stepping over him in anger, I walk through the garden in fury. The loud clinking of boots hitting against the cobble path way defeating the sound of silence and the lighting growing above me. Through the halls I went and down towards my wing of the castle. Alone.
The door to my chamber was cracked up since there was a maid tidying up the room since I was gone. "You may leave, Olivia. Thank you for your service" I spoke upon entering the room.
She nodded quickly and gathered up her cleaning supplies and rushed out after I had prompted the door open for her but then later closing it. The grand windows were not shown since the black drapes were covering up the vast windows which let the room to be dark and almost suffocating in a way. I gripped onto the seam of the drapes and yanked them open.
The fabric flew as it went down the golden rods and stopped at the ends of it. The sky was a mixture of grey and spots of black, making the environment gloomy. The lighting and thunder had stopped for now but the clouds will take a while before they disperse. Looking down upon the village, checking upon them, I noticed that there was now very few people milling about.
I took a step backwards to take a wider view of the whole village since it was five hundred acres alone it was great in size. A small movement of the drape caused to discreetly peered out my eye. The movement was small but enough for a vampire to easily pick up on. My hand instantly clasped onto the hilt of my sword but I made no movements.
The bottom of drape had shifted a few inches again then moved back into place. I slowly turned onto the heel of my boot, making sure that none of movements were to be heard not even a little. My steps were slow as I took out my long sword. I stood before the drape and slowly grabbed onto the fabric. There was a sound of faint breathing coming from behind it and there was a wild beating heart.
The heart was beating frantically with anxiety as the blood gushed in and out. The breathes were small and hollow, the type of breaths a sick person would take if they their nose was blocked. The smell coming through the drapes was intoxicating. The light smell of lavender and vanilla wafted into my nose. A smell that was new.
Holding my sword into my hand, I pulled the drape with force. The drape slid down with a loud scratch towards the opposite side of the rod and now leaving the other side completely bare expect for her. She was in the corner of the window, slightly shaking while holding a bundle of fabric.
My hand reached out to touch her pale face and there was faint sparks. Her brown eyes fluttered opened and took in my whole figure.
"Gia.." Her voice hollow before she broke down in sobs as I wrapped my arms around her body, gathering her up whole.
The room was filled with sobs of our tears while we cradled together. I looked down at the bundle of fabric that was holding within her shaking arms. I pushed the fabric to the side and was greeted with a newborn baby.
Except it wasn't breathing.
