The Pink Cat Role

So the days past and as I secretly expected my Dad never showed any sign of returning home. But the longer it was left the worse my Mom got. It's like a disease that just spreads and spreads untill it takes over your body which is begining to happen to my Mom. I would try to reason with her but nothing could break her from her pain.

I actually learned that reasoning does not work with people who have there mind set on something. I should know because I also tried with Ms. Shannon. I told her that we had a family mishap and that I promised it would never happen again, but she ust told me she can't have someone in a big role that never shows up on time. Ya... Ms. Shannon isn't the nicest dance teacher but I mean she rocks at every type of dance so she's worth it!

One morning as I was coming down the stairs I found my mom laying on the kitchen floor. She had alchohol bottles almost covering the floor around her. She was seriously hungover. I helped her up and called for Megan. Megan came running upstairs from the living room.

"Omg what happened?" She said with a discusted look on her face.

"Mom found some alchohol!" I explained.

I was very angry at my Mom for just leaving me and Megan to ourselves to live our life on our own. I mean I used to love my Mom but when something like his happens she needs to learn to get over it after a week. So Her and I were starting to lose our precious bond.

My Mom went up to bed- with our help and I had to text Gina to come get me to take me to my acro class. Ginas mom questioned a little but she tried to change the subject when she found out my mom was hungover. She instead changed the subject to the competition coming up this weekend. I was pretty excited since it was our first competition this season. The whole team here at Lifes a Dance is pumped.

"Alright guys have fun and dance your little hearts out!" Therissa said as a smile broke out across her face.

I had'nt even realized that we had pulled up in front of the red brick building. I had been to focussed on the fact that it was competiton week and the fact that I lost a part in a dance that could have been a great break through for me. The more I thought the angerier I got, so I was just trying to forget about the cat dance.

Once in the dance studio I pulled off my grey and pink runners and skipped over to the change room with Gina to get changed for acro.  To get to the change room you have to pass studio petite 1 and studio petite 2 then theres a little changroom right across the hall from them.

I got changed into my navy blue and white striped bodysuit and grabbed my water bottle out of my dance bag. Gina and I raced over to the hall across the main hall which would take us to the grand stuido and the yoga room. Of course we were headed to the grand studio.

My legs were a bit sore today so I streched a bit. I have this routine that I do every night before dance; I slide down into a straddle and stretch to each side then fowards and then stretch all the way back 'till my hands touch the ground behind me. Gina always makes fun of me for doing the exact same thing every night, but I have routine's that I like to follow.

" All right ladies lets get going! Hope you stretched 'cause I'm not stopping for those who didin't warm up! We got a big comp. coming up! She said as she hustled around the studio pulling out props. " Excuse me! Can someone at least help me pull these things out?!"

I figured this was my chance, if I do a lot of nice things I might just get my part back! I skipped over to her and said "Hello" in a sweet voice. I quickly grabbed the little barrel that the pink cat gets to hide in when the tiger comes out. I couldn't think about losing the part, I just couldn't.
