Jane's POV...
Work was slow. Too slow. Stupid Keg. Why do I work here again? Dumb question Jane. Yes I'm a waitress if you're wondering at The Keg, it may sound easy but it's usually very busy. I work from 12-5 Monday through Thursday. Then I have Friday Saturday off, and back to work on Sunday from 1-8. Busy busy. But today was rather long. No one interesting, but there had been nice generous people giving me plenty of tips, I don't need them, but they're just being nice.
It is now 2:30, usually our busiest times of the day, as I prepare to go to my next table I realize it's two very attractive young men. Never seen them here before. And everyone knows everyone here in our community. I quickly rush back to a mirror to see how awful I look right now but I don't. Odd...
I make my way back to their table but they're busy in a conversation. I don't mean to interrupt but my mind has a mouth of it's own.
"Hello, my name is Jane, I'll be your waitress here tonight, may I get you two something to drink?" I give them both a grin as they just stare at me. Like I'm a god or a new discovery.
I can't help but glance at the blonde boys wrist, he's got a music note as well, just like Nicole's, hmm I wonder. What if- I was knocked out of my thought as he began to spoke.
"Well aren't you special." The blonde man spoke. Special?
"I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" I ask very confused of his statement.
"I've never seen anyone's hair so bright, tell me love, is it natural?" He spoke again.
The dark haired boy stayed silent, he continued to stare.
"It is indeed, had it since I was a baby." I spoke happily, he seems like a nice chap.
"In that case, it's magnificent, I'm Hunter by the way, I'll have just a water please." He replied, I quickly took out my pen and paper and wrote it down. I was waiting for the dark haired boy to speak up, I glance at him and he finally snapped out of his staring contest with my face.
"Make that two, please, now tell me, why does a pretty girl like you, conceal her wrist with makeup, so no one can see her tattoo?" He asked. As I was about to reply, I remembered I don't know these people. Why tell?
"Um well. You see that's the thing. I-I um. Never mind." God why am I so nervous.
They both gave me very confused stares. But I quickly jotted down two waters and went to retrieve their orders.
James' POV...
After those long hours of plane rides, Hunter and I decided to drop by the Keg, I've heard they have some great food here. We are seated at our table waiting for out waiter to come. We make small talk.
As I hear a tiny yet bold voice start speaking I notice it's a girl. I turn my attention to her, her long red hair and stunning blue eyes.
She asks us for our drink order, but I continue to just stare. Her and Hunter start talking and I see her smile. That smile is worth a million dollars.
As she awaits for my order I can't help but notice her wrist doesn't have a tattoo on it. I can't help but ask her about it. But she starts stumbling over her own words. She quickly writes something down on her notebook and walks away how weird?
This girl, is gorgeous. Is there a word to top that? And her figure barely any curve, but just a tiny bit. I couldn't stop staring. But why would she cover up her wrist tattoo? It doesn't make sense. Maybe it's ugly? No that's not it. There's something, but I can't tell what it is yet.
Jane's POV...
I quickly run to the bathroom. I'm not sure why, but I just need to calm down. What's got me so worked up? Don't be so lame Jane! There are two sexy men out there and you're in the bathroom turning into a tomato!
I wash my hands in cold water and go back out with a smile on my face, I retrieve their waters, and go back to the table, as I'm about five feet away I take a deep breath and smile as I make my way over to them.
"Here you are, are you ready to order?" They both nod, after I finish taking their orders, the dark haired boy takes off his hoodie, when he's in the middle of pulling it off over his head I see the right side of his shirt goes up too, and I see something I never thought could be true.
"Oh my gosh." I whisper to myself, but they both notice and pay attention to where I'm staring at.
"Are you alright?" They ask in unison, that was creepy I think to myself.
"You oh um oh you oh gosh." I did it again.
"Why are you staring at my tattoo?" The boy demands.
"Sorry just never mind I'll be back with your food in a bit." As I'm about to walk away, someone grabs my arm tightly, turning me around, it's the dark haired man, as he raises his hand I wince and close my eyes expecting him to smack me, but instead I feel his fingers moving my shirt to the side to give him a clear view of my tattoo.
"Oh my..." I hear the dark haired boy gasped.
I quickly grab my arm and run off to my bosses office I need this afternoon off.
"Mister Matthews, may I take the rest of these hours off, I don't feel well." I make up a quick excuse.
"Of course get well soon." He replies, thank gosh for that. I make my way out the door and get into my car. And think. What the hell just happened.
James' POV...
I start to feel very hot, do I decided to take off my hoodie. As I take it off, I can't help but notice a pair of eyes on me. What the heck? I take a look to see Jade, was her name Jade? Staring at my tattoo.
"Are you alright?" Hunter and I asked at the same time.
"You oh um oh you oh gosh." She muttered, what was that about?
Before she has the chance to reply I speak again.
"Why are you staring at my tattoo?" I demanded a little more harsh than I intended.
"Sorry just never mind I'll be back with your food in a bit." She replied in a strange tone.
As she's about to walk away I grab her arm firmly, and she spins around, I lift up my arm and I notice her flinch and close her eyes, did she think I was going to slap her? I push the thought out of my head and place my fingers on her shirt and remove that part to see her collar bone, and see one thing I didn't think was possible.
"Oh my." I replied oh god.
She runs away before I can say anything.
"Mate, mate what the heck happened?" Hunter asked obviously confused. As I was going to reply our food comes, that was quick. But it wasn't her delivering it, it was a man.
"James what happened! What was on her collar bone!" Hunter exclaimed.
"Her tattoo." I started.
"My tattoo." I replied.
