I can't say I was disappointed or surprised by such diversity on my first day of Middle school. Most people were cramped together next to people they didn't know in a gym that smelled like sweat and garbage. A few girls came up to me and asked if 'We were twins'. . .I reluctantly said yes without any sass. Thank God because those girls were just gorgeous and I spotted one with freckles and her hair down, slightly pale skin but freckles on her face is what got me.

The beautiful female was named Alexis. Alexis wasn't exactly my height (because I was one of those twins with the tall, skinny gene) but, that didn't matter much to me. She wasn't super bossy or sassy like some of the others and she definitely had good hygiene; no half-decent guy wants a smelly girl or a girl with bad breath. She was original/ one-of-a-kind because nobody else had such a good-spirited heart and beauty inside and out. Alexis was somebody who was shy obviously and had to get a few of her friends to ask me out for her but no worries because she was soon to be my girlfriend.

A few short days later, Alexis and I hit a rocky road in our relationship and we were on and off for a while but she was all I really had. I wasn't that kid who wore designer khakis with their uniform and spent 30 minutes doing their hair, I just wanted her because on top of her virtues. . .she was everything I get wanted and most importantly. . .she was mine.
