I couldn't stand his stare that I broke the eye contact immediately, shifting my eyes to a few guys behind his back who was staring at us while catching their breath. Realizing that there are many eyes on us, I tried to break free from his grasp only resulting him to tighten his hold more.

Seeing that I was trying very hard to pull my arm from his, he let out a chuckle before his eyes pierced mine, burning holes into my skull.

"Who the hell are you to get into my business?" He said, his voice hoarse.

"I should be the one asking who the hell are you to come to my school, picking a fight with my guy." I replied. The side of his lips curled up into a smirk upon hearing my answer.

"Wow! I never know that Song Mino is actually a coward. Acting all tough sending me blackmails but eventually need this little girl to cover up for you when we're having an actual fight." He said, looking at Mino who was already standing behind me. Blackmails? Mino did that? For what?

"What blackmails?" I asked Mino, confused. He avoided my eye contact, looking flustered.

"Hmm..."

Before Mino was able to say something, the red-head guy beat him to it. "Oh, so this little girl knows nothing about it? Want me to do the honor?" He said mockingly, resulting in Mino marching towards him, grabbing his collar.

He was about to throw a punch onto the guy's face before I shouted at the top of my lung, "Yah! Stop it!"

Mino halted his action upon hearing my voice, staring straight into the guy's eyes.

He harshly let go of the guy's collar and headed into the building of our school with the rest of his friends. I turned on my heels, ready to follow Mino before I was stopped by a hand grabbing my arm.

"Where are you going shorty? We are not done yet." What the heck? Did he just call me a shorty? Seriously, I'm telling you guys that I am not that short. It's just that he is too tall. Well, I admit that I am on the short side, but not too short that I should be called a shorty.

"Excuse me, I got nothing to do with a useless gangster like you." His brows arched up upon hearing my answer and with that, I noticed that he has a slit on his right eyebrow. I know that I'm not supposed to be drooling over another guy right now when my boyfriend is just meters away from me, but I have to admit that he looked hella hot with that shaved eyebrows.

"Aww, how rude of you." He said before stepping closer to me, crouching a little to reach the level of my ear. "You know what, tell that boyfriend of yours to stop getting into my business and stay out of my life. He had caused me enough troubles." He whispered into my ear before turning back to his friends, walking away.

I stared at his back, thinking about what he just said. It just added to my confusion. What trouble did Mino cause him?  There's only one way to find out.

--------------------

I climbed the stairs, heading to the rooftop of the building, our hideout. Well, it's not really a hideout actually since everyone knows about the existence of the place. But, it's just our place.

I pushed the worn-out door open, to be greeted with the sight of his back. I strolled towards him and he turned his back as he heard the sound of my footsteps.

I stood in front of him, eyeing him intently. I took my time inspecting his bruised face. This is my first time to watch him like this. He had never got into a fight before since he knew how much I hated fights. Well, not in front of me at least.

"Got anything to explain?" I asked, folding my arms on my chest. He faced me completely before saying.

"There's nothing to explain. They're just some bastards. You know, going around the town, picking fights with anyone they find. That's all" He said.

"Are you sure? For no reason?" I doubted.

He let out a sigh before his hands rested on my shoulders, pulling me closer to him. "Baby, are you doubting me right now because of that bastard? You know I would never lie to you. Besides, all the things that he said are just rubbish. Don't think about that okay?"

I looked into his eyes, before nodding my hesitantly nodded my head. He smiled sweetly at my response and ruffled my hair before uttering a "good girl." I don't know if I should trust him or not. I want to, but something seems suspicious. I am sure that he knows the guy earlier.

Before he could sense my doubts, I smiled at him and we made our way out of the rooftop with his arm wrapped around my shoulder, making me stick to him as we walk.

LEE TAEYONG'S POV

My head was lent on the window as I was deep in my thought. That girl. It had been 10 minutes since we rode the car and I haven't spoken even a word. I don't know why but I just can't get her out of my head. Her big round eyes staring at me, her pissed face and her long wavy hair died in dark brown. They kept on lingering inside my head.

There's something in her that pulled me towards her. But the point is, she is Mino's girl even though she doesn't seem like one. Don't get me wrong, it's just that she doesn't fit that spot beside a filthy man like Mino. Before my mind kept wandering further about her, reality hit me.

'What are you thinking Lee Taeyong? She's the one who are behind this disaster. She took what's yours. You live a shitty life because of her.'
