Baekhyun's POV
I watched silently from afar. Watching her laugh with her new boyfriend, Sehun. They looked like us when we were still together. Doesn't she know that I still love her?
I yearn to run my fingers through her beautiful hair, to hold her hand, to laugh with her, to hug her and be her boyfriend once again. But that's impossible now because we broke up 5 months ago and untill now I still love her.
"Baekhyun stop staring at them." my friend Chanyeol said snapping me back to reality.
"Sorry about that" I said
He sighed and gave me a pat at the back
"Baekhyun I know you still love me dongsaeng but you've got to move on. She's already happy with Sehun." he said
"Annyeong Hyungs" Sehun said approaching us.
"Annyeong Sehun, Jeianne" Chayeol said smiling at them.
Jeianne gave me a small smile and then turned to his brother, Chanyeol.
"Oppa, me and Sehun are gonna go to the mall later, we're gonna watch a movie so I might be home a little late." she said
"Ok, Sehun take care of my dongsaeng or else you're dead." Chanyeol said playfully.
I rolled my eyes at them but to be honest, I was jealous of Sehun. He has my whole world in his hands. I regretted ever letting her go.
"Baekhyun hyung are you ok?" Sehun asked
"Yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking about something." I said
"What is it?" he asked
"Seeing you guys happy makes me think of the time when me and my jagiya were still together. I really regret letting her go." I said
Jeianne looked at me with sad eyes and I gave her a small smile reassuring her that I was fine.
"That's too bad hyung. Maybe you guys aren't meant for each other." he said
"You're wrong there Sehun, we were meant for each other but I had to let her go because all I did was hurt her. So Sehun what ever happens, take care of her." I said
"I will hyung, I love her so much." Sehun said kissing her forehead.
The bell suddenly rang which means we needed to get to out classes.
"Well we need to go. Bye Oppa, bye Baekhyunnie." Jeianne said taking Sehun's hand and heading to there first class.
"You handled that well. I thought you would kill Sehun right there." he said
"It actually took everything I had to stop myself from beating him up." I said
Chanyeol sighed and patted me on the back.
We headed to our class which is math and at our usual seats.
"Ok class today we are going to talk about.............."
I zoned out after that, I was trying to figure out what went wrong in our relationship so I went back to THAT day.
Flashback
I wasn't in a good mood at that moment since I was really tired because of the upcoming exam and I just to be by myself for a while.
"Annyeong Baekhyun Oppa" Jeianne greeted me with a big smile.
I groaned, annoyed by her presence.
"Neo gwaenchanhi Oppa?" she asked
"I'm fine Jeianne, I just want to be alone for a while." I said
"Wae? Is there something wrong?" She asked
"Aish Jeianne will you stop it already! Ho many times do I have to tell you that I just want to be alone. God sometimes ypu could be so annoying." I said gathering my things.
"Yah Baekhyun where are you going?" Jeianne asked
"Away from here and away from you." I said
"You know what?! Fine! Baekhyun I'm getting tired of this. My friends keep telling me that you weren't the guy for me but I never listen. I love the way you make me feel, it was like I was on top of the world. But I guess they were right, you need something more than wanting something to actually keep." she said stopping me dead in my tracks
I turned to her and it was like someone stabbed me in the heart when I saw her crying. It was my fault she felt like this.
"Then maybe we should break up." I said emotionless
"B-bwo?" she asked
"I said let's break up." I said walking away leaving her standing there.
'It's for the best' I thought letting my tears fall.
End of flashback
Without even thinking I stood up
"Mr. Byun please seat down!" my teacher exclaimed
"I'm sorry sir but I need to go." I said gathering my things and running to Jeianne's class.
I barged into her class and grabbed her.
"Mr. Byun what are you doing? Where are you taking Mr. Jeianne?" the teacher asked
"I'm sorry miss but it's an emergency." I said taking off to the rooftop.
"Yah Baekhyun, what are you doing? Let me go!" Jeianne said struggling against my grip.
When we reached the rooftop I let go of her hand.
"Jeianne, just listen to me please. I'm sorry for what happened back then. I'm sorry for all the pain that I brought upon you. I never stopped loving you Jeianne." I said
"Then why did you break up with me?" She asked
"I thought it was for the best. I thought that you would be happier if I let you go and seeing you with Sehun proved that I was right. But now I want one more chance, to prove to you that I have changed, that I would never hurt you again." I said
"Baekhyun, I still love you too." She said
"What about Sehun?" I asked
"It's ok hyung."
We turned around and saw Sehun at the door.
"I knew that from the start you were the one she loves. Whenever we're together I know that she wishes it was you." he said
"I'm so sorry Sehun, I do love you but as an oppa. But I am very thankful for everything that you have done for me." Jeianne said
"Well I'll leave you two alone hyung but if you ever hurt her again, I won't let her go this time." Sehun said
"Don't worry Sehun, I won't hurt her again." I said
"I'll count on that" he said leaving us alone.
I turned to Jeianne and stared into her eyes.
"So Jeianne one more chance?" I asked
"One more chance." she said kissing me deep and passionately.
"Saranghae Jeianne" I said when we pulled away
"Nado Saranghae Baekhyun."
