Chapter 2

      Mom parked close to the house and looked at me,

   "We'll be here all week. Let's get the bad things out of the way. I'll get the china and you get all of the pots.", Mom stated.

   "Roger," I responded, grabbing the pots and walking past the car.

       I forced the trunk open and started dragging bags of clothes towards the entrance of the house. No more than a couple of minutes later, a figure—a new one-- appears from behind a tree and appalls me like never before in my life. I jumped and dropped the pans onto the ground, then curled into a ball on the spot. Just then a childish laughter comes from above. As I looked into it, I saw a waterfall of red hair with a freckled face in the beginning. It was a girl, with a childish laugh, hanging upside down from a tree.

"AHAHAHAHA! You should have saw your face it was priceless AHAHAHAHAHA!!" She said.

"The heck's your problem mate! I was holding pots!" I exclaimed, trying to hide my fears.

She flipped off from of the tree and stood next to me, and I realized how tall she was compared to me. Then I ended up being distracted by a tree branch that got stuck in her hair.

"Hello! I'm Hayden! Nice to meet ya!" She said glistening with excitement and holding her hand out.

"Um... yeah... I'm Xavier... nice to meet you." I said carefully grabbing her hand and shaking it up and down. She then wraps her arms around my neck and gives bashfully rubs her hand on my head.

"It's been a while since I had a neighbor, it's been so long since I gotten a good laugh!!" She yelled. I can see why its empty here.

"Oh my, see Xavier I told you we would meet someone~." My mother said as she comes out walking out of the house.

"Hello, You must be our new neighbors,I'm Hayden! Do u need any help?"

"That's so kind of you, that would be very nice of you to do" Mom said, as she hands her a box full of clothes.

"It's been a while since visitors came, and bought a house from here"

"Oh deary, this home was already bought from someone, but why aren't visitors coming"

"I dunno, maw always kept quiet about it" she shrugs as she brings the box into our home.

Despite its outside appearance, the inside looked bigger than it did outside, my own room was the size of an average living room, Even the bathroom was wide enough to be a kitchen. With the house's size apart, we put the boxes and furniture down near the window and took a seat for a breather.

"I can't believe that there is still more stuff to get tomorrow...." I said in disappointment.

"I can't believe you guys have all this stuff... why do u need this stuff...?" Hayden responded.

As me and Hayden both complained about stuff, the doorbell rang, so my mother came and answered the door, she opened it and to her surprise, was a very tall freckled lady with blonde locks, she was a bit chubby on a few sides but it made up for her tall appearance.

"Oh hello, may I ask who you- "before my mother had time to finish, she was interrupted by an aggressive pat on the back and a very tight hug.

"Why hello there, I'm Tylisia, it's been such a nice long time since a new face has come here" Tylisia said.

"Oh well. thank you very much, my husband had this house a while back and so we had no choice but to move here." Mom said looking a bit discerned.

"MAW!! What are you doing here!?" Hayden said, immediately jumping up onto her feet in supprised.

"I thought that you were in the fields"

"I was but I couldn't resist the sight of a new car sitting in this house, I just had to greet our new neighbor, and to invite them over for a nice meal" Tylisia said.

"Well I guess we wouldn't mind a meal at your place, what do u say Xavier" Mom said, turning her head towards me. I gave her a thumbs up while panting like a dog.

"It's settled, we can meet you guys over for dinner later on today" mom exclaimed.

As they both Tylisia and Hayden nodded, they decide to head back home and prepare there dinner while Me and mom were organizing our home with the stuff we already brought it, afterwards, we washed up and headed over to Tylisia's house around dinner hours.
