me being salty about this one teacher

Not even an intro let's just get right into the salt

Last year, I may have found the worst teacher to ever walk this planet Earth.

(Okay she defidently wasn't that bad, but she's the worst in my book, okay?)

This teacher, who I will call Mrs.Packet, teaches social studies.

Now, most of the social studies teachers in my school all followed the same idea.

They would teach social studies in a fun, exciting way, that would motivate students to do and learn more.

Mrs.Packet, however, did not like this idea. While all the other students were both ahead in class AND having fun, we were all far behind and praying for class to end.

This teacher of mine never tried making her lessons fun. She would hand out these God forsaken packets almost every day (see where her name came from?) and everyone HATED them with a burning rage.

Without an explanation, the packets would get handed out and while we're suffering, trying to figure everything out, I KID YOU NOT she would mess around on her phone, messaging friends. If you are one of the poor unfortunate souls that asks her for some directions, she would just yell at you for not paying attention!

And if you EVER dare miss a packet, Mrs.Packet would hand out these annoying little papers that you have to fill out.

If you get 2 of those papers, you win yourself a detention.

Just for missing a due date merely TWO TIMES. What annoys me the most about this, is that she herself, misses her OWN DUE DATES that she assigns. Finished that packet that is an entire summary of all the units in one? Whoops the teacher forgot it! Oh well, looks like all your work and stress was for nothing! I hated it so much.

One day, while I was struggling trying to fill in one of Mrs.Packet's famous packets, my mom (who is also a teacher) happened to notice a link and a website page on her packet.

This link took us to a website that my mom recognized. It was a website, and I quote from my mom, for BEGINNER teachers to use as REFERENCES to make their OWN lessons and make the lessons they MAKE THEMSELVES fun and interesting. MRS.PACKET JUST COPIED AND PASTED THE REFERENCES TO USE AS ACTUAL WORK!

"But Kate!" You cry, "you said she got the packets from a website meant for beginners! Maybe she dosen't know how to make lessons yet!" Ohoho, very true indeed. The problem was, she has been teaching for OVER 20 YEARS.

I'm not going to lie though, I'm glad I found that website. Why? Because ALL of the answers of ALL of Mrs.Packet's packets (who weren't her's after all) were just lying there for me to see!

So, I obviously cheated sometimes. What do you expect of me to do? These packets are filled to the brim with painful work, so I'd much rather spend my time doing something else.

Well, anyways, I'm glad that that chapter of my life is over at least. I think this is enough ranting for today.
If you managed to read all the way through this, I genuinely am proud of you, here's an imaginary medal.

If any of you ever meet a Mrs.Packet, please share the story with me so we can form some weird friendship based on our hate of our teachers :)

Edit: ok wtf I'll make more rants but why the hell did I write kitkatkate at the end

P.S. fixed the spacing, should be easier to read my mental breakdown from last year.
