Omg im so annoyed! 5 seconds of summer are playing in my town next week and I haven't got tickets!! It's because my mom 'hasn't enough money' when really she has enough money to buy a mansion (she works for this really big company so she gets paid heaps)! She wastes it all on useless things, such as €1,000 worth of flowers, an extension which we didn't even need because our house is HUGE and soo many other things that are too useless to remember. So anyway my point is that she HAS the money, but she always thinks of herself before others, she's so SELFISH! I mean, she knows how much I love them, but nope. Too busy caring about herself (again).
So one Saturday morning I was in bed and my mom called me. 'Ashley! Come downstairs. Me and your father have a big surprise for you!'
'Just a sec!' I shouted back. I got out of bed and put on my dressing gown and slippers. I walked down the stairs and sat at the kitchen table (not expecting much).
'So, what is it?' I asked. Knowing them, I thought it would be something like, 'we got you a new pencil case for school,' but I was wrong.
'We know you'll love it Ashley!' my dad said, handing me an envelope with my name on it. It was my mom's handwriting. I shook the envelope to see if it was something that made noise. It didn't. It felt like paper. My first guess was five seconds of summer tickets, but then I got sense. Remember when I said my mom has so much money but never spends a cent? (Same with my dad, actually. You would think because I am the only child I might just be even a little bit spoilt, but no. I have to buy everything for myself, even when I was very very young. That's why I didn't have enough money to buy the tickets.) So I knew that wouldn't be it. Maybe it was money?? Well the most they would give me is about €10.
'Are you going to open it or are you going to stare at it?' my mom said. I opened the envelope and what was in there??? 3 TICKETS TO SEE FIVE SECONDS OF SUMMER!!!!!!!!! I screamed so loud and I got up and gave them a bug hug. Maybe they're not so selfish after all!!!
'Omg thank you thank you thank you!!!' I said like a million times. 'But, who will I bring?'
Whoever you want, sweetie,' my dad said. I was just about to scrunch up the envelope and put it in the bin until my dad stopped me. 'WAIT! They'res still something in there.'
I saw another envelope inside the envelope. I took it out and opened it. A note fell out. It read;
Ashley,
Enjoy the concert and the other surprise in this envelope.

I took the other things out of the envelope. Omg when I saw them I started bawling! It was 3 backstage passes!!!!
'OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST DAY EVER!' I shouted. 'I love you guys soooo much, thanks!'
'You're welcome,' my mom replied. 'Now go and invite whoever you want! '
It was OBVIOUS who I would bring. Sophie and Emma!! Omg they would be so happy! I ran upstairs, grabbed my phone and texted the girls.
Me: you won't BELIEVE where im taking you next week!
Sophie: where
Emma: omg where where where???
Me: only to a FIVE SECONDS OF SUMMER CONCERT!!!!
Sophie: u r the best friend in the world!!!!
Emma: can u hear me crying??
Me: I think I can
Emma: hehe
Sophie: soo what night Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday
Me: thursday, 5 days and counting!!!
Emma: Wiooo can't wait love yaaaaa
Sophie: ur the bestest :*
Me: hehe love you guys ♡♡
I walked downstairs and made myself hot chocolate. 'Well, who are you bringing?' mom asked.
'Sophie and Emma, they can't wait either!!!'
'That's great ashley, I just knew you would love it.'
The next few days went by so fast!!! Before I knew it, it was Wednesday, the day before the concert. I had a text message from Sophie...
Sophie: soo excited gurll! Not long now xx
Me: I know it's too exciting!! Aaaaaahhh
Sophie: what are you gonna wear??
Me: I dunno maybe my 5sos t shirt (obviously) skinnys and cons u
Sophie: something like that lol
Me: cant wait!!!!
Sophie: yea i know!!! Well I gotta run, see ya tomorrow!!!!

This is just too exciting!
I went downstairs and turned on some music on the tv. They were playing 5sos all day because of the concert! I watched it for like 3 hours.
At about 12 I went to bed but I couldn't sleep! I was texting the girls about how excited we were and all that. Then at 2 I decided to get some sleep. I'll tell the girls about the backstage passes tomorrow! I couldn't wait. So I eventually got some sleep. After all, tomorrow is a big day...
