David's POV

I groan and feel the couch I was sleeping on sink in. I rub my tired eyes, sitting up and seeing Alex sitting there. He notices im awake and smiles at me. "Hey, your finally awake" he says, chuckling. "W-what happened last night?" I ask, groaning and stretching my arms and sighing. "Well, during the party you had a little bit too much to drink and you didn't wanna call an uber so I offered to let you stay here, you came home with me and you passed out on the couch." He replys, grabbing the remote off the coffee table and scrolls thorough the channels.

That would explain my pounding headache. I groan and massage my head. Alex notices and gets up to grab something i'm guessing. After a few minutes he comes back with 2 asprins and a glass of water. "Here, take this, it will help your head." He says, passing me the pills and cup of water. I swear to god this kids so god damn sweet. Wait, no. I cant say that I have a girlfriend. WAIT SHIT LIZA! I CAME WITH HER TO THE PARTY.

"Alex?" He darts his head towards me. "Mhm?" he asks, staring at me with his fucking gorgeous ocean blue eyes. I zone out looking at his eyes until he shakes me lightly. "David?" He asks, dragging out the d.

I look at him, blushing. "What did you wanna ask me?" He asks, laughing softly at my beet red cheeks. "Uh-I-uh. Where's Liza" I ask, when I finally manage. His smile turns into a frown and he looks down, not daring to look into my eyes. I give him a confusing glare and raise my eyebrow at him. "What happened?" I ask. He slowly looks up at me, then sighs. "I didn't wanna be the one to tell you this. But the reason you stayed at my place is because you caught Liza making out with a boy named Jake." My heart drops out of my chest. I feel tears start welling in my eyes and Alex notices. "Awe come here baby." Alex says, opening his arms and pulling me into them. Wait, did the Alex Ernst just call me baby? He was probably just trying to make me feel better. Alex is straight. No way, I just imagined it. It moment I realized I was in love with Alex Ernst.

I gladly take his offer and snake into his arms, immediately inhaling his scent. I cuddle into him and cradle my head into his shoulder. He starts stroking my hair and I feel my cheeks get red. "It'll all be okay I promise." He reassures. "P-please don't ever leave me.. I love you." I stutter, saying the last part in my head. Alex shoots his head up at me and turns beet red. I look at him in confusion. "Y-you love me?" He asks, not taking his eyes off mine. Now im the one who turns beet red. "I-" I get cut off by Alex pulling my chin up and pressing his lips against mine. I kiss back and end up straddling him.

After our mini make-out session we both pull away, hair messed up and lips swollen and red. "Wow." we both say in unison. "Wanna watch a movie?" He asks, sitting up on the couch. I nod my head and he wraps his arm around my shoulder, I remember falling asleep to his heart beating and me smiling.
