Max is a 17-year-old gay boy living in Roswell, New Mexico by himself. And with bullies constantly in his face and a job that he's struggling to keep, life's hard. So far, his obsession with aliens and constellations and the planets is the only thing keeping his depression at bay. On the outside, Max is smart, talented, and possibly the most generous teen one could ever come in contact with, but on the inside? He's lonely, sad, scared, and suffers a tragic backstory that he wishes no one knew about.
Luca's situation is... complicated. He's a closeted gay with a great fear of his dad finding out his big secret. Being raised in a homophobic household and stuck living in a small apartment with his two brothers that enjoy messing with him all the time is just another reason why he just hides himself deeper in the closet.
One night, when the two cross paths in the most unlikely of places, something sparks between them and they just can't stop these feelings from blooming. Falling for each other wasn't part of the plan, but it was definitely necessary.
