"Who is that, John?" one guard asked the other, staring into the cell.
"That's Lucy. She has killed more people than you could imagine. Whatever you do, never listen to anything she says. And, Kevin, never ever let her out of her straightjacket. She can kill you with anything," Kevin shuddered and looked into the cell again. Lucy lifted her head, a sadistic smile covering her face. She looked straight at Kevin with cold, blue, emotionless eyes. He jumped back and screamed. Goosebumps ran up his spine; her eyes were like nothing he had ever seen before. Pure evil, devoid of life and any compassion at all.
"She isn't human," John chuckled and patted Kevin on the shoulder.
"She is definitely an animal."
48 Hours Earlier
Lucy smiled menacingly as she bashed her victim's head with a rock. The blood splattered across her face as she licked her lips in pleasure. She dropped the rock and backed up, admiring her work, kicking the man once more for good measure. Insanity walked off to the bar for her next "toy."
As she sat at the bar with her long, shining black hair falling across her shoulders, she smiled her bright white teeth at the man glancing her way. Her bright, beautiful blue eyes lit up with excitement as he walked up to her.
"Well hello, beautiful. Are you here alone?" he asked.
"That I am. Who's asking?" she replied.
"Well, me, of course. Bartender, let's get two shots of Patron this way," he said. In a split second, as he looked her up and down, she slipped a few dissolving capsules into his drink.
"Bottoms up," Lucy said with a laugh. Soon after, she was driving him home, while he was clueless about what was to come. He began to fall out in his seat, his eyes drooping lower and lower.
She parked in an empty parking lot and shook him awake.
"Hey, you awake, my love?" He woke up scared and discombobulated. She rubbed his leg and assured him that everything was going to be okay.
"Oh, my bad. I totally forgot where I was for a moment." A cold, evil smile crept across her face, her eyes void of emotion. She began to kiss him intensely, and he kissed her back. Behind her back, she held a knife. She put her hand on the back of his head and pulled him closer. With one swift move, Lucy thrust the knife into his neck, twisting it violently and yanking it back out. She never stopped kissing him while he began to jerk and thrash like a fish out of water. She licked the bloody blade as she watched him slowly fade into the black of death. She pushed him out of her car and wiped the blood from her face, driving away, looking for her next plaything.
As she continued her slaughter, she realized the sun was starting to come up. With a sigh, she looked at the man in front of her, battered, broken, and bloody.
"Sorry, I have to cut our time short, but the sun is almost here, so...guess it's time." Tears ran down his face as he sobbed, holding his broken arm with a hand missing several fingers. She raised her ax high above her head, and with one fluent movement, she came down on his chest, crushing bone and organs. He screamed and started coughing blood. The light faded from his eyes, and she yanked her ax back out, walking away, wiping the blood from her ax on her shirt and throwing it in her trunk with the man she had picked up on the side of the road. When he saw her blood-covered body, his eyes widened, and he started thrashing around.
"Shut up and calm down," she said, smacking him in the head, and he continued to thrash. "Well, I guess we have a fighter." She smiled, and then her eyes narrowed. "I hate fighters." She grabbed a rock off the ground and slammed it against his head, knocking him unconscious. She slammed the trunk shut and drove away into the sunset, oblivious to the detective hot on her tail.
When she got home, she dragged the man out of her trunk and into her basement, chaining him up to the wall. She boiled some water and brought it to the basement, throwing it on the man's chest. He immediately woke up, screaming in pain.
"There you are," she poked him in the forehead and smiled. "We are gonna have so much fun together." She laughed as his screams echoed through the house.

There was a bang at the door, and Lucy spun around, dropping her pliers. She grabbed some duct tape and wrapped up his bleeding mouth as he moaned in pain. She walked upstairs and changed her shirt, putting on a pair of gloves to hide her blood-stained hands. Peeking through the peephole, she saw the detective standing on her porch.
"Ma'am, we're investigating a string of murders that have occurred in this area. We have reason to believe that you may have information that could help us with our investigation," the detective said.
Lucy smiled sweetly, opening the door. "Of course, officer. I'll do anything to help."
The detective stepped inside, and as he walked through the house, he noticed the bloodstains on the floor.
"Ma'am, what's with all the blood?" he asked, suspiciously.
"Oh, I cut myself cooking earlier. Clumsy me," Lucy replied with a giggle.
The detective continued to question Lucy, but she was careful not to reveal anything incriminating. As they spoke, he glanced at the basement door.
"Is that your basement?" he asked.
Lucy's heart raced, but she kept her composure. "Yes, it is. Why do you ask?"
"Just curious. Mind if I take a quick look?"
Lucy's mind raced as she tried to come up with a reason to refuse, but she knew that would only make her look more suspicious.
"Sure, go ahead," she said, trying to sound casual.
As the detective descended the stairs, Lucy's heart pounded in her chest. She watched him carefully, ready to act at a moment's notice. To her exitment, he spotted the man chained to the wall.
"What the hell is this?" the detective exclaimed, drawing his gun.
Lucy's mind raced as she tried to think of a way to slaughter him. She knew she couldn't let the detective leave alive, but she also knew that she couldn't risk being caught in the act.
"Put the gun down, detective. You don't want to do this," Lucy said, trying to sound calm.
But the detective was already moving, his gun trained on her. "You're under arrest for murder," he said, taking a step forward.
Lucy lunged at him, grabbing his gun and trying to wrestle it away. The two of them tumbled down the stairs, grappling with each other. Lucy was surprisingly strong, but the detective was bigger and more experienced.
In the end, it was a stroke of luck that saved Lucy. As they tussled, the detective's gun went off, the bullet ricocheting off the wall and hitting him in the chest. He fell back, gasping for breath, and Lucy seized her chance. She grabbed the gun and unloaded it into his head, making sure he was dead.
Breathless and covered in sweat, Lucy leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. She had never killed a cop before, and she knew that the consequences would be dire if she was caught. But for now, she had to focus on escaping.
