Remember that kid in preschool who used to steal your crayons and give you half of his cookie at break time? That boy who used to kick your chair and pull on your braids but still listen to you while you fan girl over Harry Potter and curse Umbridge? That boy who would steal your homework and take credit for projects but would still make sure you get most of the credit and would make you laugh on a bad day? That boy who was playful and sarcastic and cheerful and insanely smart and annoying....the kind of boy who was your best friend no matter what...the kind that you can't help falling head-over-heels for?
To me, that was James Anderson, my best friend since preschool. And I, Belle Wilson, was hopelessly in love with my best friend.
