(ABOUT THREE MONTHS LATER.......)
"UHM, NO MA'AM! LAST TIME I CHECKED, THAT JACKET WAS MINE!!!" I yelled as I sprinted down the stairs, chasing one of my roommates.
((Narrator Me: WAIT WAIT WAIT, StOP! WHO IS IT?!?!))
((Author Me: *sigh* Okay, so I should probably mention me and three other girls decided to get together and buy a nice secluded house near our high school. The one I am chasing is a girl with auburn style reddish-brown hair and tan skin, her name is Alaina. Her hobbies are hanging with friends, drawing, and being around her boyfriend.....All. The. Time))
((Narrator Me: oh ok let's continue....))
Alaina slides down the railing, bursting out into a laughing fit and clutching my jacket tight against her side, "HAH! YOU WILL HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST SHORTIE!!!!!" She then proceeds to run into a closet and lock the door. I run after her and hit face-first into the closed door. I fall back and land on my back, smiling and giving up. "Maybe next time...." I think as I stand up and see a smaller figure than my own go into the open bar area and start making energy drinks and food. She flips her long blonde hair out of her face and smiles at me, her eyes under her glasses shimmering in the view of the sun through the window. I smile and say, "Hey Shu, You sure are hyper today..."
((Author Me: OKAY, This is my best friend and sweetest roommate ever, Lily! She has dark blonde hair and blue eyes with glasses, though she is sweet, she is also very hardcore. SHE. IS. LIT. Her nickname for me is FC while my nickname for her is Shu. OWO))
"Hey FC! And yeah, so how is your morning going?" Lily asks as she stops to adjust her glasses on the bridge of her nose again. I sigh and explain how Alaina stole my jacket AGAIN. She snickers and says, "Isn't this the third time she has done that this week?" I nod slowly and hit my head on the edge of the cabinet. She laughs and gives me a strong hug, shuffling me over and causing me to sit into one of the island seats. "Want me to get it back from her and then make her get up Lauren?" Lily asks as I lift my head up from the counter. I look over and she gives the closet a death glare. I think to myself, "What could she possibly do?" And then I nod, giving Lily a sign that she can do her worst. Then Lily calmly walks over to the closet and kicks the door open, revealing Alaina scrolling through her Instagram. Her head snaps up as Lily snatches the jacket and snaps, "Go get Lauren up, if she bites you then I will fix it later, THIS is what your punishment is."
At first, Alaina thought it was a joke, and for a split second I did too. Then Lily snatches Alaina's phone and runs upstairs with Alaina immediately sprinting at her heels. I stifle a laugh as I see them both run upstairs into Laurens room. I giggle again and manage to say, "OOF, they are so dead when they wake up the demon...."
And not a second after I say that, I see Lily get shoved down 3 or 4 stairs and land flat on her butt and Lauren dragging Alaina by her foot. "AAAAAAAAH! LAUREN IM SOWWYYYYY!!!PLEASE PUT ME DOWN!" Alaina squeals as Lauren busts into a grimace. She picks Alaina up and takes her outside the back door. I then only manage to her Alaina yell followed by a sound of water splashing on the concrete pavement we have out back.
Lauren comes back inside and takes a seat next to me, dusting herself off and smiling ear to ear.
"What did you do?" I asked smirking.
"I threw her in the pool," Lauren said. "They woke me up before my alarm went off..."
After hearing that I stand up and get my jacket, making sure that the jacket thief didn't damage it. Afterwords I start bandaging up Lily's scrapes and washing out the infection.
I sigh and remember that this is the reason I hate people.....
