The only thing that is wrong with wishing is that if you are wishing it, it could have been done right the first time

But I guess that's what I get for doing the things I do
I wish you could have been in my life long before I made mistakes

But I deserve that for the things I've put you through

But all I was focused on was our future and not my past

But I understand that is a hard thing to trust in

I wish you knew how much of a better person you make me
I wish you knew that I am changed
I wish you knew everything I do is for you
But sometimes I guess I don't do a very good job of showing you
I wish you knew how much I think about you
I wish you knew about all the sleepless nights I have without you
I wish you knew how scared I am to be without you
But sometimes I guess I don't express that to you in the ways that I should
Above all I just wish you knew how much I love you
But I guess finding the right words to express such feels can be hard
