The definition of terror: extreme fear. You're expecting Zankyou no Terror to be a horror anime, right? You're wrong. Zankyou no Terror is a psychological thriller. An exceptionally well-done psychological thriller at that. The underlying idea throughout the anime is terrorism. Who commits terrorism? Terrorists. Who are terrorists? Killers. Cold-blooded killers. Now you're expecting the characters in Zankyou no Terror to be emotionless killers, right? You're wrong again. Well, partially wrong. They are emotionless, but the characters in Zankyou no Terror don't want to hurt anybody; much less, kill them! Why would terrorists not want to hurt anybody, but still commit terrorism? They want to awaken the world from it's slumber. What could that mean? Watch the mysteries unravel, every fast-paced minute of the show, and you'll soon find out. Accompanying you while you watch the slyness unfold will be: beautiful animation and entrancingly deep music. Arguably the underdog of the season, it's another showdown between David and Goliath. Zankyou no Terror is a strong recommendation, and a must-watch of the season.
