"Jc! It's Friday! Know what that means?" I smiled widely and kept poking my best friend's arm. Jc sighed playfully and looked up from his computer.

"Netflix Night!" I nodded and hi-fived Jc. Lia walked into the room and kissed Jc's forehead.

I hate Lia. I can't stand her. She's so nosey and whenever I get a moment with my best friend, she comes and ruins it. She's supposed to be going out tonight with her friends but I know she's put some sort of white powder makeup shit on her face with her 'puppy dog eyes'.

"What you doing?" He looked over to me and held up snacks. I rolled my eyes.

"Little boy using BIIIIIIIG vocabulary, huh?" I rubbed his curly hair, making it fall in his face. I jumped up and closed the curtains and turned the lights off. It's winter, the sun goes down at 5pm. Even though it's 10pm, it's like midnight out there.

"Come sit back down, Kian. Horror or romance?" I scoffed.

"Who do you think I am? Lia? Horror." He laughed. His laugh's cute. I sat back down and helped myself to some of the snacks Jc grabbed. He turned Netflix on and put on a movie called 'Scary Movie.' It's a funny horror, great. Jc looked over at me and smiled, I smiled back and focused on the tv.
