"Mike will be here in 10" I hear off to the side. I yell back. "Who's Mike?" and I hear my sister Nicole yell, "Oh my fuckin god" And I can basically tell she rolled her eyes. "New guitarist" Brendon yells. I smile. I head to stage and fuck with mics and I sing a bit out of boredom. "This is it boys this is war, what are we waiting for" I sing in to mic. I can tell Nicole is on stage with me because I hear her bass playing along. I keep singing and after a while i don't hear the bass anymore. When I finish, I realize that there is a man around my age standing near the stage. "Hey! You must be Mike! I'm Amiya, Nicole's sister." I tell him. "You have an epic voice" He says and I feel my cheeks burn. "Thanks" I tell him. "So, do you know where Brendon and Nicole are at?" He asks. "Um yeah they are backstage. Here just hop the barricade and I'll help you on the stage." I tell him.
He nods and he hops up right over the barricade. I hold my hand out and he grabs it. I pull him up to the stage. "Thanks Amiya" he says. I smile and I lead him backstage. "Guys! Mike's here!" I yell. Brendon practically runs over to Mike and I.
"Hey! I'm Brendon! Welcome to our Panic! Family!" Brendon says and smiles. "Thanks for having me man! I'm a big admirer of yours." Mike says and smiles. He keeps on looking at me every few minutes. Brendon and Nicole go off and help set up the stage. Mike and I talk for a bit. "Hey um here's my number if you wanna hang out sometime." I tell him. I give him my number and he puts it in his phone. He shoots me a text that says "Hey it's Mike" And I tell him I got it. I am supposed to be backstage waiting for Nicole so I can do her makeup. I am the makeup and hair lady anyways.
I head backstage and I wait for showtime.

time skippy skip.

I'm backstage and I'm doing the last bit of Nicole's hair, then it's on to doing Brendon's, and then Mikes. Brendon's blaring 90s rock anthems and other music and Mike is singing along.

"Yeah nice try Mr. Sparks The Rescue" I tell him. "You, did research" He says in my ear. I roll my eyes. "I, did not. I used to listen to them all the time. My favorite song is Phoenix. Didn't it come out around the time you joined the band?" I say to Mike. "It did. Nice memory" Mike says. "Brendon, your turn. Classic style?" I ask Brendon as he sits down. He nods and I get to work.  I quietly hum a tune. Don't stop believin comes blaring through Brendon's speaker. "Oh hell yes" I say. Brendon laughs. I finish gelling Brendon's hair and send him off. "Come on Naran" I say. He sits down. "What look are you going for? Late Sparks era? BVB Era? Whatcha lookin for?" I ask him. "Oh uh lets do a BVB Era" He says smiling. "I was hoping you would pick that one. You look hot with that hair do" I say smirking. He blushes. "You guys have the easiest hair styles. I just have to slick it back and put some gel in it." I say and I earn a chuckle from Mike. Mike pulls out his phone. A couple seconds later I get a text message.

I blush. He smiles knowing I saw it. "You are good to go, good sir" I say smiling. "Thanks hottie" He says and heads the the little lounge area. I pull out my phone and I text him.

I show Brendon the messages that Amiya sent me. "Oooh get it Mike!" Brendon says. "What are you two dorks talking about" Nicole asks. I show her the messages. "How cute. My sister has had a crush on you since you were in that one Sparks band" Nicole says. I smile. "Come on y'all! Preshow shot!" Brendon calls out. We do our shot and head to stage. "Good luck hot stuff. Don't forget. Come to the bus." I hear Amiya call out to me. I smile and Nicole and I go onto stage.
