Chapter 1: Introduction

Oggy walked up to the large building, wanting to know what was waiting for him.

Oggy had just enrolled in the class of 2022 at DelArts, an animation college. It was his first day there. He had been told that it had been the best animation college in the state. He figured this was because this was because it's the only animation college in the state, but that didn't get his hopes down! He knew this was going to be the college for him.

The glass doors made a clicking sound, which unlocked the doors. He looked inside and saw a basic lobby, desk, chairs, hallways and all. Behind the desk was an elderly woman, who greeted him when he walked in. Oggy said hi back, and walked into the second right hallway. The hallway was full of classmates talking to each other. He didn't want to talk to any of them.

Oggy searched around for an elevator, and found one around one of the classrooms. He remembered that the floor the dorm he was on was floor 4, so he pressed the call button and soon the elevator arrived. He stepped into the surprisingly empty elevator, and pressed the 4th floor button.

He got to the 4th floor and went to dorm 134, his assigned dorm. He dropped his bags off and sat on the couch, exhausted. He realized that sooner or later he needed to interact with his neighbors. Just thinking that gave him the chills. After a long self argument, he decided it was too risky and just played games on his phone.

It was 10:00. Oggy had always been somewhat of an insomniac. He picked up his phone and checked his contacts and saw that the only friend he had that was online was Author. She was one of Oggy's childhood friends, whom he had met in middle school. He gave her a call and asked if she wanted to hang out tomorrow. "Sorry, I can't. I have a job that requires me to sleep during the day. Maybe Tomorrow." Oggy agreed and she hung up. He thought, "I need to get a job."
