Tao's Selca Confession

-Chapter 5-

I smile as I toss my phone onto the chair again and race into my mother's office to grab a box with old photos and drag them into the room where I was in before.

I open the box to stare at the old photos of Tao and me when we were little kids.

I laugh when there's a picture of both Tao and I smiling widely with our two front teeth missing.

I pull the pictures out and lay them out in a collage on my floor and stare at them forgetting about Tao's updates.

I unlock my phone to see he has a new update.

I open it to see a candy store that's three blocks from his house and three from mine.

Tao is holding an ice-cream cone with a slightly smile on his lips, "We use to come here whenever we had free time and I'd buy her ice-cream.

This was our summer hang out if we weren't at the park."

"Why does it seem he keeps talking about me? Tao this isn't funny."

"Tao who is it you like?"

I start naming off girls that we use to hang out with, but slowly one by one they stopped hanging out with Tao and me.

I get one simple reply, "I'm not telling until I'm in my final selca."
