"Just tell me what you want and I'll do. I'll do it in a heartbeat. Just for you."

"Why would you do something like that for someone like me," I couldn't withstand the dizziness I was feeling for much longer. The sight of my own blood tainting the bathtub made me smile at my own demise, not having the strength to laugh.

The only thing that I could hear was my shallow breathing, the soft cries from the man wrapped around me, and the melody of my own song pounding in my head as it grew louder with each passing second.

"My dear lover," I winced lifting my shaky hand, placing it gently on his tear stained face, "look me in my eyes one last time."
"N-no," a broken sobbed ripped through the quiet room, "I can't. Please just- just keep still ok?"
"Micheal-"
"Just breathe for me alright, hold onto me? I can fix this-"
"Micheal-"
"I can fix you ok... I just need to-"

"Stop," my voice quivered, halting his movements, "look at me... please."

He shook his head in protest but his eyes, his sky blue eyes with like depths of the ocean, followed my command."I can't lose you... Anyone but you..."

It became harder and harder to hold on to the bit of life leaving this body, my breathing becoming more difficult to inhale. Seeing him like this tore my entire being; slowly the tears fell.

"You will... never... ever... lose me. I feel so... so happy that you... came to this shitty... ass place."I grinned as I heard the most beautiful sound of his laugh, the vibration moving me more than anything. His right-hand wrapping around my palm that rested on his cheek planting a tender kiss to it.
"I'm scared..."

I didn't withhold the privilege of a tearful sob coming from me, my smile still on display for him and only him. "There's no... reason for you to be scared... My dear lover... I'll always be with... you."

The weight of his head on my chest was so warm, like the first time we met: engulfing me into his flames."I will never love another as I have loved you," alas, he graced me with our final kiss. Maybe it was the loss of blood that made me feel like I was floating but this feeling was something I can only comprehend as indescribable: Heaven almost."I can feel my soul... leave this earthly form..., so before I go I just wanted to clear... the air," as much as I could, I gathered my final breath, "I have always known about you, and how much you truly did love me. And I hope there wasn't a moment where you felt that I didn't love you just as intensely. Because I do, till my very last breath... I love you..."

We stayed in each other's arms, there were no words left to be said as he swayed us from side to side. Tiny ripples forming in the tub as my vision blurs from loss of oxygen. The melody seems to grow- my hand moving to his naked chest above his heart before releasing the bit of energy to share the symmetric noise with him for the first and last time.

"... Can't you hear that... it's your song."

I smiled, closing my eyes as I waited for the inevitable, holding the man that has me. "I can.. hear it... it's so beautiful my... lover... so..."

The melody was just too loud, too precious to ignore anymore.
