Day 5 out of 24

Kit heard the door slam shut, footsteps fall and keys onto a tabletop. Tom and Harrison just flew back from Japan after the premiere of Avengers Infinity war in Tokyo. As the pair came around the corner of Harrison and Toms, and practically Kits too, apartment she could see visible dark bags hanging under their eyes. Ragged clothing sticking to their bodies and clearly unkempt hair were just a few signs that it had been a rough trip.

As Tom neared her, she could see more closely just how tired he was. His facial hair was prickling and irritating his skin, which didn't help to aid the mood he was in. The two boys were exhausted; energy drained from their fast trip and they had nothing left in them. Kit ran up to take the suitcases and bags out of their hands and set them aside, then lead the boys to the lounge. They both flop down next to each other. Harrison scooted to the end and lay down, pulling a cushion over his head. Tom sat with his arms resting limp on either side of him. Kit took a seat next to her Fiance, resting a reassuring hand on his thigh. He leans his head back and closes his eyes, sighing loudly as he does. The young Downeys free arm drapes over the back of the lounge with her  hand resting on Tom's far shoulder. Tom rolls his head to look at his fiance with his tired, dreary eyes.

"Hi" he finally spoke.
"Hey" She reply with a sympathetic smile. "So what happened?"
"It was so crazy" Tom says, pinching the bridge of his nose with his fingers, squeezing his eyes closed. "There was screaming... and yelling... and flashes... an-and people... and screaming..." he trails off.

The couple spin their heads to look over at Harrison, who's head was hanging back over the edge of the lounge, mouth open and a deep snore echoing from the back of his throat. Kit pulls Tom to the bedroom, sitting him down on the edge of the bed. After fetching his suitcase and other belongings, she orders Tom to get changed out of his smelly travelling clothes.

"Clothes. Off. Now".
"Now? I'm a little tired darling but I'm sure we could still have fun" Tom winks lazily.
"No, you're having a wash. You smell". SHe nudge Tom until he stands and push him towards the bathroom, tossing a clean towel over his head as he walks away.

She could hear the water start to run and steam start to bellow out into the rooms. Tom begins to hum along quietly to an unfamiliar tune. Kit walks into the bathroom to see Tom running a bath. He was perched on the edge dangling a hand under the water falling from the tap.She walks over to him and rest a hand on his shoulder. He looks up at the brunette adoringly, pulling one side of his lips to a smile. With the only sound masking silence being the running water, Kit begins to pull Tom's shirt over his head. He stands, slides out of his pants, and steps into the hot water in the bath before slowly sinking down, letting the heat soak into his aching muscles. Kit looks down at him, taking a seat on the side of the bath. Toms eyes are shut, and she could see him visible begin to relax. She began to tangle her fingers through his hair, fumbling them aimlessly while admiring Tom's peacefulness.

"Join me," he murmurs.
"Huh?"
"Join me in here".

Kit thinks for a moment, before quickly getting rid of the clothes she was wearing, piling them on the floor in a messy heap. She taps on Tom's shoulders, motioning for him to slide forward so she could sit behind him. He frowns at her, seeing as his Fiance usually little spoon, but complies anyway. He was too tired to argue, let alone question.

She lowers herself into the water, sliding her legs to either side of Tom, then grasping his shoulder in one hand, pulling him back to rest on her chest. And Tom sighs loudly, making ripples in the water.Kit then starts to cup water in one hand, bringing it up and tipping it onto Tom's hair. The other hand follows, smoothing down his hair as the water makes its way trickling down his scalp and dripping back into the water. She does this repeatedly for a few minutes until Tom's hair is relatively damp, Tom humming at the sensation every once in a while. She then sit up, pulling Tom with her, and squeeze a small amount of shampoo into her  hands. She begin to massage Tom's hair, lathering his locks in suds and bubbles, gently rubbing the shampoo all over. Tom leans his head back, and she could see a content smile falling on his lips. She rinsed his hair like she did before, and repeat the same head-massage action with a little bit of conditioner. After rinsing his hair for the final time, Tom lays back on the girls chest.

"Th-nk you" he mumbles, eyes closed as he's already half-asleep.
"C'mon, you can't fall asleep on me here or we'll both drown" Kit teases.
He half-heartedly chuckles in response, but leans forward and resting his head in one hand, rubbing at his eyes.

Kit stands from behind him, lifting one foot –and then the other- out of the bath to meet the cold tiled floor. She wraps a towel around her body, tucking it in so it doesn't fall, and grabs another one for Tom.She outstretched her hand, to which Tom takes graciously, and help lift him from the tub. Throwing the towel over his shoulders, Tom cant help but look at his one and only adoringly. He smiles at her, eyes half closed, and hair dangling in his face.

Once Kit had finished getting Tom dried and changed, she got onto the bed before kicking back the sheets and sliding under them. Tom saunters over with hunched shoulders and leans in and leaves a light-as-a-feather kiss on her lips. Her eyes flutter shut as the unexpected gentleness catches her off guard. The two of them lay back onto the bed, Tom curling up onto Kit. Kit propped herself up against a stack of pillows as Tom moved his head to rest on her chest as he wiggled himself over to lie on top of her stomach. He interlocked his fingers and rested them on her torso, resting his chin upon his hands. Tom let out a low hum through his closed mouth; eyes shut and a small smile playing on the edge of his lips. The couple cuddled silently for a while, and as time passed they could hear Harrisons' snores from the other room grow louder.

"I thought when we got home his snoring wouldn't keep me awake" Tom murmured with a sleepy voice.
Kit shifted from below Tom, sliding out from under him to try and help Harrison. As she was leaving, she turned around to meet Tom's frowning pout.
"I'll be right back" She promise.

Kit walked into the other room and saw Harrison fast asleep, curled up hugging a cushion. She smiled at the peaceful site and throw a blanket over him instead of waking him up. As she walked back into the bedroom, closing the door behind her, Tom was laying on his side away from her. His phone in hand as he scrolled through Instagram, head propped up on his hand as his elbow dug into the mattress.

Kit scooted up behind him, cuddling up to his warm back and wrapping her arms around his body. Tom looked at his fiance over his shoulder and put his phone down, curling up to her side. His back was pressed up against her chest, and arms tracing over hers so that they rested over his stomach. He intertwined his fingers with Kits and pressed a kiss to the back of her palms. Kit  planted a gentle kiss to his shoulder and nestled her  head into the crook of his neck.

"Being little spoon is so comfy" he whispered to her as he fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
