You yawned and stretched as you watched the clock turn 12:57. "Three minutes until I dive into the servers of Sword Art Online! I can't wait much longer!" You said to yourself and boy you were happy so you spun around in your chair, scanning your headphones that were plugged in then next all the posters of SAO that were all over your room. Akihiko Kayaba is your ideal and you loved him very much mainly for how he combined the visual and real world together. Then the time final came for you to dive into Sword Art Online it was 12:59 , so you laid down on your bed and put the nerve gear on your head closing your eyes shouting"Link start!"
An automated voice appeared " Hello, player please put your username,password and gender!"
Username : ******* Password: ********* Gender: Female
"Thank you,player. Your appearance will be now be randomized. Welcome to Sword Art Online!"
You opened your eyes and observed your avatar. You had long (h/c) with a blue ribbon on the tied around your hair. Your (e/c) orbs scanned your surroundings before heading to the sword shop up ahead.
"That will be 400 col " The NPC said to you. You nodded and paid for the sword and and picked up your new crystal sword ,and you tapped onto the sword to examine it's status.

"Ah no matter how many times , I see the NPCS they just seem...so real so life like." You chuckled silently to yourself as you headed out to the field to gain some experience.
"Hey there!" A voice called out to you.
"Huh?" You turned your head to the voices direction and saw a young man running towards you.
"Hey, you're going to the field right? Mind teaching me some tricks?"
You look at the man with a wry smile and then heatedly nodded at him.
"Thanks so much for your help!" He said with a closed eye smile.
" Oh what's your name? I'm Klein ! You are?" He tilted his head a bit
"....(u/n) " You said a before turning to the field walking towards it ,with the guy traveling behind you .
"YIPES!" Klein jumped as a boar tried to headbutt him.
You smiled a bit and turned to a boar nearby " First aim for your target. Then, active the your sword skill and strike. If it charges ,pretend you won't dodge but do it at a reasonable time. If you give it enough time to react, you could get hit easily."
You sidestepped the boar and sliced it , killing it the poor pig. You smiled as you received an exp. notice. Klein clapped and smiled. You closed and plopped on the green ground,looking up at the sky.
"Guess I'm logging out to go eat dinner with my family" You sighed knowing that you didn't live with your parents but your auntie and you know your little brother wasn't your little brother. It was your cousin and things haven't been the same when you told him you weren't his sister. You dived into RPGs more and more ever since.
"Yup! I have a pizza arriving at 5:30" Klein said,sighing happily.
You chuckled and got up. "Better hurry up then its 5:26."
"My pizza!!" Klein cried in fear."Alright then, menu scroll..." He mumble as looked for logout.
"Hey..what th-?" It-It's not there..Eto...."He stated.
"It's at the bottom right of the screen, right-Oh?" You begin sweat, imaging the game masters rushing everywhere to fix this.
"Probably just a bug..I hope it is ...I really do" You said, and you were about to get up but you was blinded a flash of blue. You opened your eyes to see Klein.
" A forced teleport?!" You murmured to yourself, looking around the town of beginnings.
Instantly a small warning sign appeared in the sky. Then, it spread and covered the entire plaza. Red goo oozed down and formed a cloak.
"Hello Sword Art Online players. My name is Akihiko Kayaba."
Gasps and panic begin to happen with everyone including you.
"As you've noticed there is no logout button. " This is not a bug , but a feature of SAO. You will not be able to log out until you clear the game." Kayaba stated.
Some people laughed and tried to leave and think it was a bunch of lies.
"There are 100 floors to this game. You must clear them before you can log out. But beware, you cannot pull of the NerveGear. If done so,the device will send radioactive waves to your brain,crushing it and thus ending your life. But 200 family have ignored this warning so 200 players have died already. If you die in the game you die ,visually and real world. Before I go I have a gift for you all."
You opened your inventory and a mirror appears in your hand.
" A mirror what th-"Klein was cut off by a blue flash engulfing him.
"Klein!" You yelled but was stopped by the same blue flash.
The entire plaza was filled with screams and panic and shattering items , You shook your head and looked up.
"(U/N) Is that you?" A redheaded man said looking at you.
You gasped and looked at him" Klein?!" What happened to you?"
Klein pointed to your mirror. Looking into it screaming in shock. You no longer had your avatar.
The mirror fell and shattered into crystal polygons ."It's my real face and body... " You said.
But how ?"Klein said.
"We had to do a pat over our body to get through."
