3rd Person Point of View...
Back on Earth, Hestia was true to her promise to Percy.
When she appeared by the hearth on Olympus in a flash of flames, almost the whole council was there. The only people missing were Artemis, Hermes, Dionysus and Hephaestus.
None of their disappearances were surprising to Hestia. Artemis was rarely at Olympus besides the solstices, due to the hunt. Hermes was the god of messengers, so he was always running around, busy with work. Dionysus was at Camp Half-Blood because of his punishment. And finally Hephaestus, who was always working at one of his many forges.
"Poseidon." Hestia said icily, "What did you just do?" She was going to at least give him a chance to explain himself. If he had a good reason (which she completely doubted) then she would tell her champion.
The Olympians present besides the sea god looked between Hestia and Poseidon. Most looked curious about how he managed to make the goddess mad when she was basically the goddess of peace, but some (*cough* Ares *cough*) like they were going to start chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Poseidon looked at Hestia warily, unsure of what to say. "What did he do?" Athena asked her aunt, a little upset that she had no clue what was going on.
Hestia ignored her and walked straight up to Poseidon and slapped him.
Hard.
"YOU DARE THINK FOR EVEN A SECOND THAT HE WOULD DO SUCH A THING?!?? HE SAVED US TIME AND TIME AGAIN, HIS FATAL FLAW WAS FREAKING LOYALTY!!!!!"
She turned to the council who was now wide-eyed with her outburst. "YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT THIS [Insert word(s) of your choice here] DID?!? HE ACCUSED PERSEUS JACKSON FOR MURDER OF HIS OWN HALF-SISTER, DISOWNED HIM, AND BANISHED HIM FROM HIS HOME AT CAMP HALF-BLOOD, SAYING THAT HE WASN'T A DEMIGOD ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
During this whole time, the Hearth was blazing over twelve feet tall, demonstrating the goddess' anger to the whole council, who looked shocked at both her outburst and at Poseidon's actions.
There was a stunned silence in the throne room for several seconds, until most gods and goddesses burst out into yells of outrage. Aphrodite, Zeus, and Ares did not participate. Aphrodite was too busy examining a minuscule infraction with her lipstick, while Zeus and Ares were watching the fight with smirks on their faces; one was pleased that a fight had broken out while one enjoying his brother getting a verbal beat-down.
Poseidon wasn't given the chance to defend himself, and nobody was on his side. Not even Athena, who had hated Percy. She hated injustice and Poseidon more than Percy, especially since he went through Tartarus saving her daughter. She tolerated her relationship, and she eventually grew to be okay with the fact that a sea spawn was dating her favorite daughter.
After a few minutes of this entertainment, Zeus grew bored. He decided to end this.
"SILENCE!!" He boomed, slamming his master bolt into the ground. Smaller lightning bolts shot out and sparked for just an instant once it hit the floor.
When the Olympians finally quieted down, Zeus said diplomatically "We need a way to settle this."
Athena, being the goddess of wisdom and justice, spoke up. "Father, why don't we have Hestia say her side of the story, while Poseidon say his?"
When Zeus agreed, Hestia told her side first, with not a detail out of place. Nothing was even slightly exaggerated or tweaked. Most of the present council were surprised that Zeus allowed this. He was always one for a more..monarchy approach.

FanfictionIt wasn't meant to be this way. I know that heroes are supposed to have tragic endings in Greek Mythology, but my life crossed the line between standard tragedy and life-is-just-unfair tragedy. Why me? Hadn't I done enough? Apparently not. Oh, I'm...
