"Have a safe trip, Dabin."
"I will princess, don't miss me too much," she says as she pulls from our embrace with a wink.
Yeonwoo and I were hugging for a good five minutes in front of the gate before she let go of me. Over the P.A, they were announcing that the flight to Korea will be boarding in 30 minutes.
"You sure you didn't forget anything?" I question.
"Nah, I think I'm good," she chuckles.
"Okay, well I just wanna let you know I packed you some wipes in your carry on just in case. Oh, I also packed you some snacks. Make sure you get enough sleep, don't drink airplane water, here's some gum - chew before and during take off, and just before you land, you don't want your ears to pop super bad-"
Yeonwoo begins to laugh and pulls me into another quick hug, "You're so cute, Nancy. Don't worry about me."
I start feeling the heat crawl to my cheeks, "YA, I'm not worried."
She pulls back and smiles, "Okay."
"Yo Nancy, stop hogging Yeonwoo," Jooe says.
It was Hyebin, Jooe, and Daisy who were here with me to see Yeonwoo off. I immediately let go of Yeonwoo and Jooe runs into Yeonwoo with open arms. The next thing I knew, it was a huge group hug and Jooe and Daisy were fake crying - catching odd glances from strangers passing by.
Yeonwoo was laughing, "Guys, calm down, it's only two weeks!"
Their fake crying got even louder.
As funny as the whole situation was, I tried my best to pull them apart and said, "Guys, Yeonwoo is going to be late for her flight."
And in an instant, the three of them stumble away from Yeonwoo and helped fix her distressed clothes.
"Alright guys, I will see you soon," Yeonwoo says as she waves and nears the gate. Just before she crosses through the doors, she looks back at me and flashes me a small smile.
...
The four of us were currently walking towards Hyebin's car. You may be asking, who's managing Momoland? Currently, Jane, Nayun, and Taeha were just keeping watch on the store, but Hyebin was planning on opening it up later.
The cold, crisp air in the garage was biting on my cheeks and I noticed the red tips of each of my friends' nose. I didn't bother wearing a huge winter jacket because I thought I would be indoors most of the time and instead, I opted for 2 thick sweaters.
Damn, I'm an idiot.
"Hey Nancy-ah, aren't you cold?" Daisy asks.
"Very, very cold," I respond with a shiver running down my back.
"Hyebinnnn," Jooe pouts, "why did you park the car so far away?"
Hyebin looks at her with a tired look, "Ya, I'm not happy about it either. It was the only space left open."
When Hyebin's car was in sight, Daisy, Jooe, and I raced to the car - playfully hitting each other and giggling. Daisy yells back to Hyebin, "UNLOCK THE DOORS!!"
And all we heard back was a laugh.
Daisy and I took over the back seats of Hyebin's sedan while Jooe took the passengers and we began rubbing each others hands in attempts to warm each other.
Out of the blue, Daisy speaks up, "Sooo, how is everything with you and Yeonwoo-unnie?"
I playfully shove Daisy by her shoulder, "Since when did you start calling her unnie?"
