Y/n's P.O.V
"Y/n! guess what i was invited to a highschool reunion and you are coming with me so get your lazy ass up and get ready!"
"But i'm not a part of your highschool though?" i said questioning her because everyone there is basically a stranger to me.
Except for her group that is probably going to be there since those are the only people Roni hangs out with.
"I told them you were coming so i'll see you downstairs in 30!"
My sister Veronica, said as she closes my bedroom door.
I sighed and decided that it was best to follow and not fight her back since i've got nothing to do at home anyways.
I went to look for a dress to wear for the party tonight. I've decided to go for a black strapless velvet dress that mom bought me for my birthday last month.I'm gonna put a natural makeup on because why not?
"Y/n come on, Let's go!" Veronica shouts from downstairs.
I struggled my way out with my half worn black leather knee high boots.
Veronica called a Cab and we hopped in, Roni told the driver the address and we went straight to the party.
"Roni are you sure about me going to this party?" I asked,looking out the window."
"I am a hundred percent sure. Don't be so nervous, just chill out and relax it's going to be fun." She puts her hand on my shoulder for comfort.
"Okay." I looked at her and smiled.
We arrived at the party and payed the cab fare. When we stepped in the room, it was loud, some people were already drunk and some were dancing.
But then again, i've been to parties with Roni since I was 17 and i've gotten used to the blaring music and crowded places.
Roni went and hang with her typical group, the one I mentioned before. Who consists of Bethany Rodgers the boss of the group, Bianca Elane the Bethany wannabe in my opinion and my sister,Roni.
I've known these people for a very long time because they came to my house a few times.
I am not very fond of Roni hanging out with them since she is forced to act mean and disrespectful towards the people around her as long as her schoolmates are around. However, she doesn't want to leave and I just don't understand why.
But as long as she doesn't treat me differently and doesn't get me involved in her little group, then i'll be fine.
Since Roni went to her group, I went to the kitchen and grabbed a can of coke and sat on the kitchen stool and checked my recent notifications on instagram.
A few minutes passed by, "Hey" I suddenly feel someone tapped on my shoulder, I flinched "oh god you scared me!" I said putting my hands on my chest.
"Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you." He chuckled.
"What do you want from me?" I asked raising one of my eyebrows."Wow. So aggresive huh? I was just going to say hi."
"That's such a fuck boy move honestly." I rolled my eyes at him, looking back at my phone.
"Woahhh!! calm down. I'm not here to hook up.I was just wondering why you are alone here and i've never really seen you before." He exclaimed, putting his hands in surrender.
"Well that's because i'm here to accompany my sister." I replied.
"And who exactly is your sister? May i ask?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"Veronica Anderson." i said and shrugged."Another Anderson huh? Well i guess your personality kind of suits hers" he smirked,when i heard what he said,it broke my heart a little because i don't like being called a bad person.
I know i'm nothing like how my sister acts in school.
"I am not like her! Just because how I acted earlier doesn't mean anything." I snapped at him. He nodded and smiled.
"I'm sorry, I just hate it when people say i'm like Roni just because I am related to her." I apologized. He smiled at the nickname I gave my sister.
I see Veronica walking towards my direction "Y/n, I'm staying over at Bethany's tonight.Go home safely and dont forget to text me when you get home." She says concerned.
"Oh..okay Ron, i'll just call a cab" I smiled at her.
"Oh my , i've never seen Veronica so concerned about someone who's not herself. Dang, well that's new" He said while rubbing his neck awkwardly.
"Yeah Well, I gotta go now i have work tomorrow so i can't sleep late tonight." I said standing up.I was about to walk away when I feel someone grabbed my wrist and turned me around.
"Wait let me take you home" He said smiling.
"You don't have to its fine" I said as I pulled my hand away from his."Just let me take you home, please?" He said with a frown.
"Fine..." I gave in and sighed.
He smiled and took my hand as we walked out of the party.We reached his car and he walked to the passenger side opening the door for me. "What a gentleman" I giggled. "My mom taught me how to treat a lady right" He winked.
" Ohh looks like somebody is a Momma's boy" I joked as i hopped in the car and closed the door.
He asked where i lived and drove me back to my house.
When we reached our destination,he ran over to the other side of the car and opened the door for me.
We walked to the front door and I faced back at him ,"Thank you for the ride." I smiled and thanked him.
"Anytime! And hey, it was nice meeting you. I'm Jonah by the way. Jonah Marais. I hope i'll be able to see you again soon" He said nervously, fiddling with his fingers.
"Me too." I lifted his chin up so that he could look at me.I then smiled and turned around to open my front door.
Jonah's P.O.V
"Me too." She lifted my chin up and i stared at her brown orbs.She walked away and i did the same.
I then realised that i haven't got her name yet so i quickly turned around and shouted "Wait i didn't get your name yet..." I was too late and kicked a small rock on the ground,"Dang it." I whispered to myself.
I hopped into my car and exhaled dramatically (a/n ; basically a dramatic sigh lmao) eventually, finding strength to push the break and drove off.
