I was scared. I didn't know what was happening. All I know is that I couldn't breathe. I couldn't no matter how hard I tried. It's like all the air in my lungs just disappeared.
I tried to call for help, but the only sounds that came out was small whimpers. Hearing footsteps outside my door caused me to whimper even more. Half because the noise and half because- well maybe if they came in, and saw the state I'm in, they could help me figure out what was happening and make it stop.
They must of heard me, because seconds later, light pooled into my bedroom and Dustyn walked in. I slowly lowered my hand from my ears and looked at him, slightly whimpering to let him know which part of my room I was in. Dustyn rushed to my side, and put each of his hands on my shoulders causing me to sob and press myself as far as I could against the wall- as I said
'Stop it, it burns! Why does it hurt!?!?' Or at least, I tried to say, but no sounds came out of my mouth but sobs and whimpers. Dustyn ripped his hands away from my shoulder like my touch burnt him. He looked at me worriedly before slowly speaking. "Amaya, I'm going to need you to breathe for me. Slowly, in and out. In for four, hold for seven, out for eight. Alright?"
I tried to follow his instructions, I really did. But, I got cut off by my choked sobs, which scared me even more. He looked even more worried, when he further looked into the state I was currently in. He frantically called in Gabriel, seeing as Dustyn thought that he had probably had these before. They chatted for a few, probably bickering as they didn't really get along as well as I did with both of them. I could only faintly hear what they were saying, seeing as my sobs where quite loud."Ple... Help he.... Panic atta..."
"Why me? Why no... Mo...."
Becau.. You've ha... befor.."Gabe finally left, causing me to sob more, I wanted my brothers with me, they have calmed me down lots of times when I would cry over small things. When I looked back up, Gabe ran back in with a pair of headphones. Plugging the headphones in what I guessed was my cell phone, he typed away before he looked up at me. How he knew my password, I have no clue. "Amaya, I'm going to put these on you, okay? Would that be okay?" I took in what he had said before I slowly nodded. He slowly approached me, then proceeded to carefully put the headphones on my head. He turned down the volume so that the sound would not scare me anymore then all the noise around me already have. He pressed play on whatever he had looked up on my phone before I heard a familiar voice flood into my ears.
"What is up everybody!"
