Breath against the cold minty air, boots crunching in the cold crisp snow, and not a sound coming from the trees as my heart beats at a steady paste. Closing my eyes and letting the snowflakes melt on my rosy red cheeks. Then opening my eyes to see the trees full of life dancing in the wind. As the last leaf falls winter begins. The winter wonderland and then fun wins. I have never seen snow or even heard of winter. This was my first time seeing it. I loved the sun and the sandy beaches but snow and winter was different it made me feel like I was walking on cloud and felling like angels were singing a song of grace. As I headed back home the breeze started to pick up. I looked up and saw a cloud that looked like a tiger with blue eyes. I thought it was my imagination witch I had lots of.

As I walked into my house I brushed myself off feeling the warmth of the heater. I went into the kitchen and saw some hot coco on the table. It had a note under it said...

Dear North,

I am going to the store I will be back in a little be safe and enjoy your hot coco.

Love Mother.

... I had drunk all my hot coco and turned on TV when I heard a noise from outside. I looked out the window and saw the tiger figure again. I didn't know what to do but stare in amaze of what I was looking at. The eyes the teeth the size it was like nothing I have ever seen. I heard the roar of the tiger and it moved through the air. I struggled to pull my phone out of my pocket. I finally got a hold of it when I looked up and it was gone. It was like there was nothing there. I laughed and went back to TV thinking it was just my imagination again.

That night my mom got home I didn't bother to tell her just because it looked like she had a long day. I went to bed but I couldn't sleep I tossed and turned and then started to think about the tiger in the air. I began to think that it wasn't just my imagination anymore. It almost seemed to real to be my imagination.

My eyes slowly drifted away as I thought about the tiger gracefully pouncing on the air. With every blink, my eyes closed more and more and then finally they shut. I dreamed about it for the last few weeks and never told my mom. 4 weeks later there it was again this time I was ready I went outside and started flashing as much pictures as I could. I stopped as is looked down at me. My heart felt like it skipped a beat. Its eyes staring into mine with every second I felt like he started deeper and deeper in my soul. I didn't know what to I couldn't move and I couldn't say a word. A path made of clouds came down to my feet.

I finally got the courage to move and look at the stair case leading right tour him. I paused and looked back up at him. He nodded his head as if he was telling me to go up the stairs. I took one step after another without hesitation. I made it to the tiger and put my hand out. Think this was just a dream, it came up and put its head under my hand. I ran my hand down its back. The softness felt like a soft fluffy kitten. It jumped into the air and a swirl of air popped up from under him. I slowly walked to it and reached my foot over to it. I put all my weight on it. That's when I fell. Everything happened so fast. I saw the ground and me screaming didn't help the fact that I was going to squish on the ground like a bug. Then I hit the ground but I didn't feel dead. I slowly opened my eyes. I was in my bed?! I looked around and everything was the way it was. I put my face in my pillow and sighed.

I smelt bacon and eggs. I already my dream was coming true. I told my mom about it. She said it was just a dream and I believed it, until I saw it when I was outside. I ran inside and graved my phone. My mother went to work a little while ago so I was going to text her. I was on photos and saw the pictures of the tiger. "It wasn't a dream." I said quietly to myself. I put my phone on the table and made my way to the window. I closed my eyes took a deep breath and then opened the window. I opened my eyes and there it was the tiger me and him staring face to face through the window. I put my hand on the glass and it put his paw on the glass next to mine. I unlocked the window and slowly opened it without knowing what I was doing.

I moved out of the way. The tiger jumped through the window with grace. It landed on the flour without making a sound. It looked around the house and then came back to me and it bowed to me. I heard my mom's car pull up to the drive way. "shoo shoo" I said, "go hide my mom can't see you." To be surprised, the tiger listened he went to my room and hid under the bed. My mom walked in the door and I sat on the couch. "how was your day?" My mom said putting her purse on table. I looked at her then looked at the TV. A moment of silence passed by in the room. A sound came from my room I looked at my mom and my mom looked back at me.

My mom started to walk to my room I tried to stop her but she wouldn't. I sighed and sat on the couch crossing my figures. Then I heard my mom scream I ran in the room to find the tiger about to pounce and my mom on the ground. I stood in front of my mom with my arms out and said, "STOP!!" He stood up and came closer to me and put his head down. My mom almost passed out. "I'm sorry for screaming like that sir." My mom said knelling near the tiger. "Sir?" I said with confusion. "You are very lucky North," My mom laid her head on the tiger's head, "you have been chosen." "I looked at her like she was crazy. "For what?" I said, "For one of the element" my mom went on "this is King Fang-tooth." "King?!?" My mom nodded and smiled. "You have a lot to learn about these creatures" My mom said grabbing book off the self.

She blew all the dust off and laid it on the table. "Read this and you will know everything about them" "This looks like a lot to read mother" I said flipping through the book that is over 500 pages. I started to read. I spent hours with back cramps and constantly getting water breaks. A few hours later I finally finished. The book had all different types of mythical creatures. Some were made of fire and some out of water. So, had the power to blend in and some could make plants. I passed by the one about the tiger, King Fang-tooth, so I decided to go back to it. I read about his powers and how he is supposed to use them. It was all confusing but I know I would catch on to soon or later. Then something caught my eye on the bottom of the page. I couldn't really make out what it said. I asked my mom to get a magnified glass. Once I put it up by the word and dropped the book on the table.

I ran to my room and started to pull books off the shelf that was on the end of my bed. My mom ran after me and look blankly at me then finally spoke. "What are you doing?" I didn't listen and a large book that was a dust brown. I blew on it and wiped all the dust off. I didn't know what to do but look in amaze. The title said the myth of all mythical creatures. I sat on my bed and opened the book. I skimmed through the pages. My mom came to sit next to me and look at the book. "What is this?"
