I woke up like I do everyday and started my daily routine. Today was an unusual day for me. I was going on a date with my boyfriend. We've had dates before but this one seemed different for some reason. I hopped in the shower and began washing my hair, then moving to my face and body. My name is Amanda Wells I am a 19 year old girl living in a small town in the united states. I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around me. I flip my long brown hair in front of me and wrap it in a towel. I get on my phone for a minute and scroll through Instagram scrolling through some different accounts. When I see its 10:30 my date starts at noon so ill leave at 11:30. Which gives me an hour to get ready. I get up and finish drying off. I put on a red flannel with a tank underneath and a pair of leggings. I dry my hair enough to where its not dripping and put it in braided pigtails. I look at my phone 11:07 so I throw my shoes on and do some light makeup. When I put some lip gloss on i walk to the door grab my keys and walk out. I got to the coffee shop to see my boyfriend Jack acting strange. Dont get me wrong he's had off days before but this one was different. I walked up to him and asked him what was wrong. I grabbed his shoulder and like everytime we touch I get a little shock. It should probably worry about that but im used to it. He pulled me out of the shop and said he needed to tell me something. We make it to the alleyway and he looks around to make sure no one is around. "Ok Amanda there's something I really need to tell you. I know we've been together a while and im sorry for not saying anything sooner...but.." he starts and slowly stops to look at me. "But?" I respond. "I need your help" he said bluntly. Jack started to pull up his sleeve to show me what looked like amazing sfx work of wires and metals. Then he turns and shows me a battery on his back. Slowly everything started to make sense...
