Charlie's POV

It's been a week since the dead started walking. I've been looking for my best friend, Daryl ever since. I know Daryl better than I know myself so I went straight for the woods knowing he would be in them with Merle by his side. That is if they're still alive. I don't think anything could ever kill Daryl Dixon except himself which scares the shit out of me. If Merle's dead and I'm not there then he might just finally end it.

I worked in the city so, as soon as news broke about the 'virus' I made my way toward home. The horrible little trailer park outside of the city that I did everything to get away from, but now I was going back. I was going back for two reasons, Merle and Daryl Dixon. When I got there I was greeted by Will Dixion, I always wanted to kill that asshole and I figured the world's going to shit so why not. I shot him with my bow and arrow right between the eyes. At first, it was satisfying, but now his face haunts my dreams. My thoughts keep rambling on and on constantly. Daryl always told me I talk so much if I'm alone for too long my brain will explode. I guess that's why Daryl and I are perfect, he just grunts and I talk away. He's a great listener and I'm an amazing talker so we make a great match, made a great match. I really need someone to talk to, he was right my brain is about to explode. Just then I hear a twig snap and I whip around toward the noise. I quickly grab my bow from off my shoulder and an arrow and lock it in place while looking around me. I stand there and keep looking around where I saw the noise. I draw back the strang so I can quickly shoot at anything that moves. Soon enough something runs out from behind a tree so I aim and fire. I hear someone squeal in shock. I walk toward the person. I see a man standing there with long hair wearing a beanie and a long coat. He sees me and puts his hands up to surrender.

"Sorry, I thought you were a walker or food." I apologize to him for shooting at him.

I walk over to him and pull my arrow out of a tree. The arrow wasn't even an inch from his face. He sighed in relief and put his hands down. I look at him more closely and I see he has like the worlds most beautiful eyes. I mean seriously even God is jealous of those things.

"I'm Charlie, What's your name?" I ask him. His eyes light up in a way that tells me it's been a while since he's talked to someone too.

"Paul Rovia, but my friends used to call me Jesus." He said and smiled at the face I made when he said, Jesus.

"Jesus? Is it because you look like God made you with extra care or because your super zen all the time?" I ask him in a serious tone even though I was just messing with him. He seemed to get that I was joking around and answered, "It's probably because I'm super zen, but I like to think it's because God loved me more than anyone else." I laugh at his answer and he smiles at me. I hear his stomach growl and his face becomes bright red. I grab my pack from off my shoulder and open it. I shuffle through all the weapons and first aid stuff to the bottom of the bag where I keep the food and drinks. I throw him a couple of protein bars and a bottle of water.

"Eat, before you pass out," I tell him and he nods at me to say a silent thank you. He sits down and leans against the tree behind him and I do the same.

"You can stay with me if you want. I hate being alone. I like talking a lot my friend Daryl used to always tell me to shut up and breathe before I die. That's who I'm looking for right now. He's basically my brother really, well now anyway. In High School I was totally in love with him until he told me he was gay then I let it go. I kinda knew he was gay before he told me because he never showed any interest in girls. I always thought it was because he was into me but nope I was wrong. Now I just occasionally check him out when he's not looking because he is one sexy ass man. I'm sure you would agree with me if you ever meet him. His arms are like the size of my face and he walks like he owns the world. He's a total badass too, really intimidating, but he's super sweet once you get to know him. I'm sorry I'm rambling your the first living person I've seen in like a week." I ramble to Jesus about Daryl even though he's never met the man. Jesus smiles at me the entire time and waits for me to finish. Once I do he finishes chewing his food before speaking up.

"I'd love to stay with you because I also like talking to people and why do you think I would think this Daryl guy is 'Sexy'?" He asks me but is still smiling so I know I didn't offend him. I look at him confused because I'm almost certain he's gay, but he may not be. He seems like he won't get mad if I ask so why not.

"Well, your gay aren't you?" I ask him and hope I didn't misread him. He smiles at me and nods.

"How did you know?" He asks curiously. I wonder if I should tell him my strategy or lie.

"So Daryl and I did a little study and found that 90% of guys with nice butts are gay. Plus I'm awesome at reading people." I explain to him and he looks at me confused. He's probably wondering when I got the chance to check out his ass since he's never turned around.

"When you sat down," I answered his silent question and he nods. A couple of walkers appear out of nowhere and we both shoot up I grab my bow and quickly draw an arrow but fumble and lose it. I look up to see Jesus kick one Walkers head so hard it died immediately and then stab the other one. He worked so fast and so effortlessly it looked like he was a ninja.

"Dude, are you a ninja or just awesome?" I ask and he turns around and me standing there in awe.

"I guess I'm just awesome." He answers and gives me a smug look. I shake my head to regain composer.

"I am so glad I hit the tree," I say and he laughed. "I like you. I'm gonna keep you."
