Charlie POV

I sit up in bed finally after four days of having to lay down constantly. Denise says I still have to stay in bed at the infirmary for a few more days. Every once in awhile Daryl and Jesus will show up and talk for a while then leave again while flirting. Rick and I made a bet on who will make the first move. I said Jesus will and he said, Daryl. Rick is so gonna lose. I've met a few more people from Rick's group. I met this woman named Carol who's Daryl's best friend. I don't think she likes me very much. I met Rick's family, Michonne, Carl, and baby Judith. I finally met Maggie, Glenn's wife, yesterday. Apparently, she's really busy because she runs a lot of stuff around here. I met Tara a few days ago she spends a lot of time around here since she's Denise's girlfriend. The only other guy I've met is Eugene and he seems pretty cool. He talked to Tara the whole time then introduced himself and that was about it. I've tried to get up and walk a few times on my own to go to the bathroom, but Jesus always catches me and yells at me. I don't see the big deal, so it feels like my insides are falling out. I've felt worse.

Tara goes to the medicine cabinet a few feet from my bed. I watch her for a minute while she looks for the pain medicine I'm guessing.

"Denise put the Advil on the counter if that's what you're looking for," I tell her and she looks at me and nods.

"Thank you." She says then walks over to the counter and pours a couple pills into her hand.

"Tara, can you do something for me?" I ask her and she looks up at me.

"Yeah, what do you need?" She asks and walks over to my bed.

"Rick and I made this bet a while back on who will make the first move Daryl or Jesus. Can you maybe keep an eye on them so Rick doesn't lie and say he won." I explain to her and she nods.

"What did you guy's bet?" She asks curiously and sits down in the chair Jesus usually sits in.

"Well if I win Rick will talk Denise into letting me out of here early and get me gummy worms, but if I'm out of here already then he has to get me cookies and gummy worms. If he wins which is not going to happen I have to stay here for an extra day and I can't talk to Jesus or Daryl for three days." I tell her. She laughs a little and nods.

"I'm guessing you said, Jesus." She said knowingly. I nod and smile.

"Rick has too much faith in Daryl's confidence," I tell her and she laughs. Denise walks in as she's laughing and smiles.

"I hope you're not trying to steal my girlfriend." She says jokingly. I shake my head and grin.

"Nope. You are still good. My brain decided to be stupid and like men." I tell them and laugh a little. They both laugh too.

"Men aren't that bad," Tara told me and I scoffed.

"Tara, there's only two men I have met that I would consider maybe dating. They're both gay." I tell her and she snorts. I hear a loud shout outside so, I look at the door. I see the door swing open and Jesus runs in and immediately slams the door shut. Tara stands up and looks worried.

"Jesus, what the hell's happening?" I yell at him in panic. He backs away from the door and looks at me with scared eyes.

"I accidentally sneezed on Daryl." He tells me and comes to sit next to me. I start laughing and he looks at me like I'm crazy.

"What did he do chase you through town?" I ask while laughing at the ridiculous situation.

"That's exactly what he did," Jesus tells me and looks back at the door waiting for it to fly open. I laugh even harder. The door opens again and an angry Daryl stands in the doorway.
