Sands of Fate

Chapter One

Once a long time ago live five individual lived in the long-forgotten history of the past.

The Pharaoh in our story seems roughly around the age of 12 or 13 but that's only in terms of his appearance but those that have known him personally do not mistake him for simple, naive preteen, he is an older and wiser person than you think, yes he is still young but he has to bear the weight of an adult.

The poor ruler, alone as he is strong enough to get through anything that comes his way with his head healed high and his head filled with confidence.

His only wish to be that he could be himself...

The second person, in this case, is a high priest known to the people of Egypt as cruel and cold to others, in this case, the only thing that matters to him is his reputation and rank in the Pharaoh's consul.

Does anyone ever give thought to the responsibilities that he most upholds day in and day out, how mentally exhausting it is to go to morning trails then afternoon paperwork is nothing more than a headache and mind nothing.

What he wants nobody knows ...

The third is a high ranked magician, who lived in the palace training his student in the art of magic.

He is the calmest, collected and the well-disciplined person you will ever encounter nobody has anything bad to say about this man.

He seems to have it all but is that true?

What is his wish?

the fourth is a man that was forced into a fate then what he thinks is worse than death, he is that of a tomb keeper.

Guardian to the past Pharaohs and swore protected of their secrets.

His heart full with the burned of being tomb keeper, restricted of where he can roam and the duty to withhold.

His families history was the same and that is how his life will play out till the end of time.

He can only dream of a life where things will change.

The last and five of our tale the Thief, he's cunning as he is light on his feet.

When backed into a corner he will quickly outwit his opponents, making his grand escape.

He slipped through the guard's fingers like grains of sand, he depends on no one but himself, he is witty as he is wicked.

His only goal will always be to end the Pharaoh's life.

Why?

Nobody ever bothered to ask...

It was a normal day for priest Seth.

Get up, get dressed and he would head to the prayer temple and make his daily prayer.

After moring prayer, he went to court with the other priest to Pharaoh's throne room.

Where the trials for criminals,  judged by the millennium items and so on.

But today was one of the few times he goes to town and takes a stroll through town...

Walking at a rather decent pace through the town he took notice that women would try to hide their children out of sight and men would look away for him.

" When will they ever stop acting like fools, this is rather irritating, " Seth thought to himself, clearly not in the mood for the people to act like scared mice.
