In the kingdom of Jewel Falls. There is a small village named Appleville which is a village known for mostly farming and growing orchids of apple and pear trees which where decorated all around the vibrant green fields.

In Appleville lives a small snow white coloured mouse named Travis with a big dream to become a news reporter or some one who can save other animals lives. That little mouse was me and I know it doesn't sound like much but to a mouse it's a huge and I mean HUGE deal as Jewel Falls doesn't have many mice working in the news world or services.

So I went to the local school which many children residents of Appleville went to named, Appleville primary.

I stood near my locker with my eyes on the ground as my mind wandered to my dream jobs one after another, my large and round ears moving slightly whilst I did so.

A hard thud against something hard snapped me out of my day dream before a boys voice shouted.

"Why are you in my way?!"

It took me a few moments to realise what had happened but soon enough I noticed I was a few feet of the ground with a scaley aqua blue hand around my neck whilst I was against what felt to be one of the lockers in the school.

My lime green eyes moved from the hand and up to meet the face of Victor, a crocodile with serious a problem against me.

His teeth were bared together, sharp and white in colour but his mouth was formed into a unsettling grin. His eyes were smokey grey with slit pupils which fixed on me like they were locked onto a target.

Attempting to speak, I opened my mouth but only a small sound came out my breathing was slow but shaky and it felt like something was in my throat making me unable to say what I wanted.

But it was like Victor read my expression and knew what I wanted to say.

"Look. Get your head out of the clouds. Your a mouse. Nothin' more then a common thief."

Provoked Victor with his face inches away from mine, it was so close that I could feel his warm breath and hear is slightly quickened breathing.

"N-no. That's wrong. One day I'll save someone's life.... O-or report what problems are going on."

I argued in a meek and stuttered whisper, placing my hands on his hand and pushing at them in an attempt to get them from around my neck but they slightly tightened instead causing me to tuck my long, thin tail between my legs as I moved them back and forth to try and get out of the grip.

"Yeah maybe if you weren't a mouse. Maybe if you were higher up the world, sewer rat."

Victor sneered before letting me go as I landed on the floor near the locker, landing on my backside which caused me to let a small breath of air. Not much time was given for me to respond but it was honestly just best not to go to his level.

Chuckling, Victor turned his back to face me with his long tail trailing on the floor behind himself whilst he walked away from me, leaving me alone in the silent hallway of school.

Getting back to my feet, I took in breaths looked out of the school window, sunlight shone through it in a warm orange colour whilst it started setting behind the group of pine trees which were proudly stood together.

'Time to get home and not let the bullies bring you down.'

I thought to my self, straightening my white school shirt before adjusting my red and blue striped tie whilst I walked down the hallway and towards the exit of school.
