Chapter one

Guns. Drugs. Sex. Gangs. Mobs. Every illegal act you could think of I've witness them all.
The Choi Family. My family. I was born into this crucial life. Where instead of playing with dolls, I learned how to shoot a gun at age 10. Years and years learning to defend myself, pleasing my "family", and for what so I could be married off to some other gang and be treated as a pet. When I turned 18 my parents felt as if I was ready to do my family's wishes and go. But I couldn't so I ran away. Tsk. As if, I would let myself stoop that low. Well, that was my thought up until now.

"Soojin!" My boyfriend Ilhoon called out to me. After I left my family behind. I went to the one other people who i considered my family. They were my family's alliance. They helped my father out and took him under their wings. The Lee's go way back and are one of the most powerful and terrified Mafia in the underground world. Their son, Lee Ilhoon, inherited the leader role and now leads one of the many gangs this mafia has. "Yes my love" I said anticipating for him to step inside our shared room. " We are going to a convention, I have some business to settle." I nodded. I got up to give him a kiss but I was caught off guard when my phone ranged.

Minseo? What does he want. I answered "hello?" "Soojin! You answered! I thought u wouldnt afte-" I interrupted. "What do you want Minseo? To bring up the past or steal for me again?" I said getting a little annoyed. "No no! I just wanted to repay you actually, I know you must be very angr-". This man has the nerves to steal from me then run away and not expect me to go murder him. "You listen here Minseo, if you call this number one more time, I'll show you what a very angry me looks like. And you better watch your back, because If i find out where you stay. Ill happily get paid back." And with that i hanged up the phone.

I turned around and didn't see Ilhoon there anymore. Great that little shithead. I saw Ilhoons phone light up. Soojin don't do it, you trust him. Deep down you didn't. You knew that he cheats. You knew that he would go and sleep with other people. But she wanted to believe it was a lie because she never saw him physically "cheat". When he comes home to me there isn't a trace of another woman. So that gives me hope.

We arrived at the this big building. Everyone looked wealthy and smelled like cigars everywhere. I was used to it though. As soon as we got in Ilhoon left me to chat with other leaders in hopes to retreat some new allies. I was scanning the enormous room fulled with rich itself, when something caught my eyes. Actually we both caught each other's eyes. It was as if time stopped. He looked so strange but not in a bad way. More intriguingly strange. His features were so defined and his eyes...those ebony filled eyes were sparkling. I was awed. I was certain he was younger than Ilhoon, like 24. I realized what I was doing and quickly turned my eyes to something else.  My eyes are definitely blessed after that. I went to go get a drink. Studying someone can get exhausting. Then I realized its been almost 20 minutes since Ilhoon has left me. I did a quick scan around the room again searching for him. Where did this man go? 

I end up in a corridor and eventually gave up when I saw a person walking opposite my way so I thought  it would be a good idea to ask if he know anything. "Excuse me sir, sorry for the bother but, do you by chanc-"  I was interrupted "-know where Mr. Lee is.." i became confused. Only to realize it was the same guy from earlier. "Yes." I was being arrogant, keeping conversation to the minimal. God knows what would happen if i was to be caught talking to another man.

"I believe i heard his name being yelled out in the 2 room over there" he points to the door far towards the other end of the hall. The thing that I found so unusual was that this guy had a smirk on his face. I bowed then went on my way. Then I  noticed their were a bit of sadness but a lot of excitement which confused me even more. That guy is weird. As i got closer i could hear weird sounds and the closer she has gotten she was clear that it was the sound of someone getting pleasured in that room.

I was most certain that the guy said this room, but she wasn't certain if Ilhoon was in there. Her heart shatters. She heard it. She hear the voice of another woman moaning Ilhoons name. Her first instinct was to go in and murder both of them but she couldn't move. She didn't want to see him on top of another woman. She was broken.
