It was 9:03 a.m. When i woke up . I checked social media and texted people back . I quietly got up and went to the bathroom to take care of my hygiene . I dont wana wake derrick up because he is NOT a morning person . When i brushed my teeth , i went in my closet to grab my teal jumpsuit with my gold sandals . I put on my goldchain , did my makeup , and styled my braids . Surprisingly , derrick slept through all the noise i made . I grabbed my keys , purse , and i went downstairs .
Since my mom doesnt have a phone , i went out to go buy her one . Despite what happened in the past , i love her . I pulled up to apple and bought her an iPhone 5c just like mine . I bought her a case as well . Ive got alot of stuff to do . Now that i bought her a phone , ima take my pregnant ass to mcdonalds to get me a mcgriddle because im hungry . When i got my mcgriddle , i went to forever 21 to get her some clothes . I will not claim her if she look like who - did - it - and - why . I wana buy her at least 15 outfits . Dont think outfit as just a shirt and some jeans . No . Im gona get her the shirt , the jeans / pants , the shoes , the belts , the perfume , and the accessories . Shes gona look like an older version of me .
As i was paying for her stuff , the worker was staring at me .
Me : ummm hello , see something you like ?
Worker : are you sapphire ?
Me : yes . Why
Worker : you look so pretty pregnant
Me : thank you
Nobody has every told me that . That was so sweet .

I pulled up to the hospital at 11:20 . I grabbed my mom's stuff and went to her room . She was up watching maury .
Me : good morning ma
Mama : hey sweetie . Whats all this ?
Me : i bought you a new phone with the case and some clothes
Mama : you didnt have to
Me : yes i did . I didnt want you walking around on this earth looking a mess . You got your hair done and heres your wardrobe
Mama : awww thank you
I hugged her and sat down .
Mama : so hows everything going and whose the dad ?
I began to tell her about derrick . When i got done telling her about how he looks , she already got a crush on him . Well damn ma .
Me : *laughs* hes really a great guy
Mama : thats good . i wana meet him
Me : you will
Mama : hows your daughter
Me : shes good
Mama : whats her name ?
Me : liberty
Mama : thats a pretty name
Me : thank you . but did you know that uncle jerry came back and raped me
Mama : NO ! WHAT HAPPENED ?

My mama hugged me . i have never felt so comfortable in my mama's arms at times like this .
Mama : well where is he now ?
Me : dead
Mama : thank god . i dont wana hear nothing else about him . lets go to the positive things .
