"ina, we are gonna be late!"i looked at my best friend, eyebrows fumbling. the time on my phone only read 7:14am.
"donghyuck, calm yourself. doesn't first period start at 8:30am?" i asked rubbing my forehead in confusion.
"um, yeah but the new students have an assembly at 7:30am, which includes you incase you didn't remember." he said rolling his eyes and plopping down onto the couch next to me. my eyes shot up as i remembered that we did have to be there early.
"ah, crap!" i yelled in frustration, running into my room to get ready. it was the first day at a new school and I was gonna look like a bum, wonderful.
as i looked in the mirror, the reflection that looked back was definitely not, one of my best looks. i scurried into my closet, finally picking out an outfit to at least look a bit presentable;
after quickly brushing my teeth and doing my hair I ran out of my room looking around for anything else I might need.
"woah there, ina, who you tryna to impress?" donghyuck said smirking, looking at my outfit.
"shut up, you're always exaggerating things."
i rolled my eyes at the slightly orange haired boy, picking up my backpack and phone. originally, my older brother was supposed to drive me to school, but he was out doing whatever he and his friends did.
"let's ride out." he said winking and walking towards the door. i chuckled and followed him through, making sure to double lock it.
-
"we're here, ina." he said, parking his car in the only space left since most of the other kids were already inside. i looked at my phone, the time reading 7:28am, my eyes widening.
"shoot! i'm gonna be late!" i said quickly opening the door and slamming it to run off into the school. luckily, i made it just in time to the assembly. it was filled with mostly freshman's, (with fresh, innocent blood pretty much tattooed all over them) and a couple other transfer students.
the principle went on and on about how this was a performing arts school that along with basic and usual classes, had entertainment classes as well that every student had to take to go here and blah blah blah.
i sighed, getting bored of what he was saying even only 5 minutes in. since it seemed like it was all the would talk about, i decided to ditch the rest of the assembly, going to find where donghyuck was.
ina
donghyuck, where you a-I typed mid-sentence, until slamming into someone's chest, causing my phone to drop to the floor with a loud, thud.
"uhm, what the fu-" i started but stopped when i saw the figure in front of me. he had light brown hair, with dark brown eyes. his face looked as if it was shaped almost perfectly, and- god why am i so cheesy.
"i'm sorry, i wasn't paying attention." he said snapping me out of my thoughts handing me my phone.
"neither was i." i chuckled slightly. "thank you." i smiled at the stranger, letting my hand touch his as he slipped me my phone.
"see you around." he smiled back and walked the other way. probably never gonna see him again, i thought to myself sighing.
ina
donghyuck, where you at?donghyuck
i'm in room 316, why?ina
bc that assembly is boring, so i'm comingi put my phone back into my pocket, determined to find that room somewhere. after turning many corners and going up lots of stairs, i finally found the room.
"donghyuck, you could have at least told me where it was by-" i whined, stopping mid-sentence to acknowledge the seven guys sitting in front of me. but my gaze was fixed onto only one.
hallway boy.
