Prologue

Lightning crashed across the sky, the ship groaned against the waves. The crew ran dizzily across the drenched metal floor.

"Steady men!" the captain shouted, "Head back!" he yelled as another mammoth wave pelted the boat, rocking it sickeningly.

The crew stumbled across the ship, back to their stations to turn around.

The boat turned with the current heading back to the west coast of England. Sea spray soared into the air, showering the crew with yet more water.

"Just another day in the Atlantic!" one crewmember shouted across to the others, who all grunted in agreement.

Suddenly the sea calmed, and the cloud drew back swiftly.

"What the hell's going on?! Is this a freaking cartoon or something?" A man asked a grin spreading across his face

"It looks like the sea god is smiling down on us" The captain grinned back "Okay lads, lets head back... there's no point in turning around again."

"We have enough catch anyway captain!" A soaked crewmember shouted

"You look like a drowned rat Morrison!" Someone shouted across deck

Everyone chuckled to themselves as they headed home, totally un aware of what was going on beneath the waves...
